AnesthesiaJobs.com website home page

AnesthesiaJobs.com is an eSEOspace client: we work on its website and search marketing. This guide uses the company's own published information, checked on 19 October 2026, and every source is listed at the end. We don't rate or score our clients. Job counts, prices and policies change, so confirm them on anesthesiajobs.com before you rely on them.

The short answer

It is run by Anes Jobs LLC, a Texas company with an Austin mailing address, and was founded by Adam Moore, MD, who describes himself as a practicing anesthesiologist. When we checked it listed 6,432 open roles from 799 employers. Job seekers can search without an account. Employers post jobs free and can pay to feature a listing, from $20 for one feature to $500 for fifty. It does not employ clinicians or take part in hiring. Contact: support@anesthesiajobs.com.

What is AnesthesiaJobs.com?

AnesthesiaJobs.com is a niche job board. Its home page calls it "built exclusively for anesthesia," and every listing is for one of three professions: anesthesiologists (physicians, MD or DO), CRNAs (nurse anesthetists) and CAAs (anesthesiologist assistants). It does not list general nursing, surgical tech or other hospital jobs.

The site has two halves:

  • The job board. Groups, hospitals, surgery centers, dental practices and staffing agencies post openings. Clinicians search them by profession, state, city, duration (full time, part time, PRN, locum tenens) and pay type, on a list or on a map.
  • Career resources. A blog of 346 articles, a 216-question careers FAQ, salary, licensing and locum tenens guides, lists of accredited CRNA and CAA schools, a new-graduate guide, a resume builder and an offer-comparison calculator.

The site is clear about what it is not. Its footer disclaimer says it is "an online job board that connects anesthesia professionals with employers, facilities, and staffing agencies," and that it does not "employ clinicians, set compensation, or participate in hiring or staffing decisions." Applications, interviews, contracts, credentialing and clinical arrangements are handled directly between the candidate and the employer. It also says listings are submitted by third parties and that it "does not verify or endorse individual postings." In plain terms: it is a place to find and contact employers, not a recruiter or staffing agency.

Who owns and runs AnesthesiaJobs.com?

The site's Terms and Conditions name the company as Anes Jobs LLC, "doing business as AnesthesiaJobs.com," and describe it as "a company registered in Texas, United States." The footer copyright line reads "© 2026 Anes Jobs LLC."

The founder is Adam Moore, MD. His page on the site says: "I am a practicing anesthesiologist. My experience includes a variety of practice models including MD only, as well as working with both CRNAs and CAAs." He says he started the site to help all anesthesia professionals find a job that fits both their personal and professional life, and he publishes a direct email, adam@anesthesiajobs.com. The site's research hubs (CRNA schools, CAA schools, new grads, podcasts, influencers) carry the byline "AnesthesiaJobs.com Research · Reviewed by Adam Moore, MD."

We did not check Dr. Moore's medical license in a state registry for this guide, so his credentials are as the site states them. The site does not publish a founding year.

Is AnesthesiaJobs.com legit?

People ask this before they create an account or hand over a CV. Here is what can be checked on the site itself:

  • A named company, state and address. The Terms name Anes Jobs LLC, say it is registered in Texas, and give a mailing address in Austin (5900 Balcones Dr, Suite 20649, Austin, TX 78731), a phone number, (281) 907-3914, and support@anesthesiajobs.com. The Terms are governed by Texas law.
  • A named founder with a direct email. Adam Moore, MD, with adam@anesthesiajobs.com published on his page.
  • Clear limits on its role. The site says it does not employ clinicians, set pay or take part in hiring, and does not verify individual postings. That is honest, and it means you still need to check the employer yourself (see questions to ask).
  • Free posting, card payments through a processor. Employers post free. Paid features are processed by Stripe, and the site says it never stores payment information.
  • Written privacy terms. The privacy notice says the company has not sold or shared personal information for a business or commercial purpose in the previous 12 months and "will not sell or share personal information in the future" belonging to visitors and users.
  • A public employer list. The Employer Directory page shows every company with open roles and how many each has, so you can see who is posting before you sign up.

We searched for an independent business record or review profile for Anes Jobs LLC and did not find one we could quote, so none is cited here. A Texas Secretary of State business search would confirm the registration.

How many jobs does it list, and where?

The home page shows a live count. On 19 October 2026 it read 6,432 open roles:

SliceOpen roles
CRNA3,838 (60%)
Anesthesiologist2,421 (38%)
CAA173 (3%)
Full time2,875
Locum tenensabout 2,900
PRN451
Part time206
Marked 1099 / marked W-22,280 / 1,817 (the rest don't say)

The states with the most open roles that day were Texas (787), Florida (572), New York (417), Pennsylvania (382), Virginia (322) and North Carolina (298). CAA roles were concentrated in Florida (35), Georgia (32), Texas (31) and North Carolina (22), which follows where CAAs are allowed to practice.

The Employer Directory listed 799 employers with open roles. The largest posters by count were locum tenens and staffing agencies and large anesthesia groups, which is typical of the field. Expect a mix of direct-hire group and hospital jobs and agency-placed locum assignments.

The site describes its process in three steps: Search (filter by state, city, profession, duration and pay type), Apply (save jobs or "send a non-binding application straight to the employer") and Connect (talk to the employer about "the finer details that a job post lacks").

  • Search form. Choose a profession, a duration (full time, part time, PRN, locum tenens) and a state on the home page.
  • Browse by profession and type. Each profession has its own pages: all jobs, locum, and subspecialty pages for dental, pediatric, cardiac and OB anesthesia.
  • Browse by state and city. "Jobs by state" pages for each profession link all 50 states and DC; each state page lists jobs with filters and links to city pages. For example, the CRNA page for Texas showed filter counts by profession and duration.
  • Search by map. A map view lets you pick a profession and zoom into a state or city to see openings near you.
  • Job alerts. Listing pages offer "Get Job Alerts," and the site says you can set an alert "for multiple states and cities." When we checked, the alerts page sent us to sign in, so alerts need an account.
  • Sorting and filters. The full job list has "Narrow Your Search" filters and sorting, and shows how many jobs match.

What a job listing shows

Listings are written by employers, so the detail varies. A typical listing page we looked at (a locum CRNA job in Wichita Falls, Texas) showed:

  • Employer name, city and state
  • Profession, duration (for example locum tenens), pay type (1099 or W-2) and, when the employer gives it, the rate (that one showed $240/hr)
  • Posted, Updated and Expires dates, and a reference number
  • A named contact with a phone number and email
  • Free-text details such as start date, practice model (for example care team model), staffing, case mix, schedule and the EMR used
  • Buttons to Request an Email, Request a Call, Save Job or Apply Now

Some listings put pay in the title (an annual figure, an hourly or a daily rate, a sign-on bonus); many don't publish pay at all. The site's employer page says users "do not require an account to view your job post and your contact information," so the employer's contact details are visible to anyone.

Applying and contacting employers

There are several ways to reach an employer, and the site says it stays "out of the middle":

  1. Contact them directly using the phone, email or application link in the listing. No account is needed.
  2. Request an email or a call from the listing page.
  3. Apply through AnesthesiaJobs.com. This needs a job seeker account. The employer then receives an email with your information from AnesthesiaJobs.com.

Two points from the employer FAQ matter to candidates. First, "an application from the user is non-binding." Second, sharing your "non-final, non-binding CV and contact information" does not give the recipient permission to present you to another group, facility, staffing company or recruiter, and the site says any abuse of that information "will result in a permanent ban." If you are worried about a recruiter submitting you to a job without asking, that rule is worth knowing, and worth repeating to the recruiter in writing.

Is it free for job seekers?

The site does not publish any charge for job seekers. Searching, viewing listings and contacting employers directly need no account ("Direct connections · No account required" on the home page). Saving jobs, applying through the site and job alerts use an account, which the site offers through "Create account" without listing a fee. The career tools (resume builder, offer calculator, guides) are open pages.

How employers post jobs

The pricing page headline is "Post jobs for free. Forever." Posting is free for unlimited postings, with "no posting fees, no contracts." The steps the site gives:

  1. Click "Post Jobs" (or "Post a job") and log in or create an employer account.
  2. Add your anesthesiologist, CRNA and CAA roles.
  3. Hear directly from candidates by phone, email, your own application link, or applications sent through the site.

Archived posts stay in your profile "to allow for quick reposting," and each listing shows an expiry date. The site's pitch to employers is that it is "streamlined, so that users spend less time on our site, and more time speaking to you."

Advertising. Separately from job posts, the Advertise page offers advertising "across our platform, including on our homepage, resource kit, and other opportunities," with a "Request a demo" button. Prices for advertising are not published. The employer FAQ says to email support@anesthesiajobs.com for customized advertising and featuring.

How much does featuring a job cost?

Featuring is optional. A featured job is "pinned above standard listings," gets priority placement in search and on the map, and, in the site's words, puts the job "in front of more anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs, faster." Features are sold in packs:

PackPublished pricePrice per feature
1 feature$20$20
10 features$150$15
30 features$360$12
50 features$500$10

How features work. Each feature lasts 30 days from the day you apply it to a job; after that you can apply another one to the same or a different job. Each feature is used once, on one job. It cannot be moved to another job, and unused days (under 30) can't be transferred. You apply a feature from My Jobs, or when creating a job, or on the Feature tab of your profile.

Worked example. Keeping one hard-to-fill CRNA job featured for three months takes three features. Bought singly that is $60; from a 10-pack it works out to $45 of a $150 purchase, with seven features left for other jobs.

Paying. You create an account before buying. The pricing page says payment is handled by Stripe and card details are encrypted; the Terms list Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal, and say all payments are in US dollars with sales tax added where required. The Terms also say all sales are final (see policies).

One thing to confirm before buying a large pack: the pricing page says unused features expire one year from the purchase date, while the older employer FAQ page says features "do not expire when unused." Ask support which applies.

Career tools: resume builder, offer calculator, interview and contract guides

  • Resume Builder. Fill in your details, see a live preview and download a PDF. The site says "everything stays on your device." You can tailor it for anesthesiologist, CRNA or CAA, and it suggests a section order for each (for a CRNA: summary, licensure and NBCRNA certification, experience with case mix and practice model, education, skills and procedures, memberships). It also lists what to leave off, such as an SSN, full date of birth or photo.
  • Compare Offers calculator. Put two or more offers side by side, W-2 or 1099. Rows include base salary, productivity pay (ASA units), call pay, retirement match, CME allowance, sign-on and relocation bonuses, PTO, hours and call frequency, plus non-dollar items like who pays the malpractice tail and partnership track. It calculates an estimated annual value, a year-one value and an effective hourly rate. The site calls it "a planning aid, not financial advice."
  • Interview Prep. A six-step guide: research the practice (practice type, care team model and supervision ratio, case mix, who holds the contract), prepare for the questions you'll be asked, ask your own (call, partnership, billing, malpractice coverage), know your numbers, handle logistics, and watch for red and green flags. Role-specific question sets for each profession.
  • Contract Negotiation Guide. From written offer to signed contract: get everything in writing, understand pay structure (including ASA units rather than wRVUs), the malpractice tail, call and time off, restrictive covenants, and what is worth negotiating. The site says it "is general education, not legal advice" and recommends an attorney review your contract.
  • CME Resources. A short list of official continuing education and certification links for each profession.

These are general information. This guide is not legal, tax or financial advice; talk to a qualified attorney or accountant about your own contract.

Guides, directories and school lists

Much of the site is reference material, all linked from its Resources page:

SectionWhat's in it (as published)
Blog346 articles grouped by topic, from salary and career comparisons to job search and locum work
Careers FAQ216 answers in 12 categories: salary, how to become, comparisons, job market, locum, lifestyle, scope of practice, specialties, financial planning, new grads, locations, AI and the future
Salary guideHow pay is structured (salary vs hourly or per shift, call and stipends, sign-on and retention bonuses), with links to pay guides by profession
Licensing and credentialingThe path to practice for each profession: license, certification, DEA registration, credentialing and scope
Locum tenensHow locum, PRN and per diem work is engaged and paid, with links to open assignments
CRNA schools154 COA-accredited nurse anesthesia programs in 46 states and territories, from the COA list dated 8 July 2026; listed A to Z, not ranked
CAA schools25 CAAHEP-accredited anesthesiologist assistant programs in 11 states and DC, checked against CAAHEP on 1 October 2026
New anesthesia gradsStep-by-step guides from the final year of training to the first job, for each profession
Where anesthesia professionals workState-by-state directories of hospitals that support an anesthesia service, built from public data; the site says these "are not rankings of employers"
Industry directory100 companies in 13 categories, from drugs and airway equipment to billing software and malpractice, life and disability insurance (updated 24 September 2026)
Podcasts and influencers20 active anesthesia podcasts and 16 creators, each checked on 1 October 2026 and listed alphabetically, with a note on whether they sell something
Year-end career planningEight things to line up before the year ends, from credentialing for January assignments to continuing education deadlines

The school and research pages say where their facts come from and list programs without ranking them. If you use the salary or scope-of-practice articles to make a decision, check the figures against the original source each article cites, because pay data and state laws change.

The AnesthesiaJobs.com scholarship

The site runs a 2026 scholarship to help with student loans: three $500 scholarships, one per category, for current SRNAs (student nurse anesthetists), SAAs (student anesthesiologist assistants) and anesthesiology residents. To apply you create a job seeker account, save five jobs, write and post one blog post for AnesthesiaJobs.com, and fill in the 2026 scholarship form. Winners are picked by random drawing from eligible applicants. Applications close 1 December 2026 and winners are announced 15 December 2026. Applicants give the company the right to publish their name and photo.

Refunds, privacy and other policies

  • Refunds. The Terms say: "All sales are final and no refund will be issued." Buy feature packs with that in mind.
  • Feature expiry. 30 days once applied to a job (both pages agree on this).
  • Age. The services are for users at least 18 years old.
  • Not for regulated health data. The Terms say the services are not built to comply with HIPAA, so don't put patient information in messages or uploads.
  • Privacy. The privacy notice says the company does not sell personal information, keeps it no longer than 12 months after an account is closed (except where law requires), and shares data with service providers such as Google Analytics and Google Maps. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages; carrier rates may apply.
  • Governing law. Texas.
  • Listing accuracy. The site says listings come from third parties and are not verified or endorsed. There is a Report Issues page for problems.

Both the Terms and the Privacy Policy pages showed "Last updated March 11, 2025" when we checked.

How it compares with other ways to find an anesthesia job

OptionWhat you getTypical trade-off
AnesthesiaJobs.comOnly anesthesia roles, filterable by profession, duration, state, city and map; employer contacts visible; free to postListings aren't verified by the site; many are agency locum posts; pay often not shown
A large general job siteHuge volume across all fields, familiar toolsAnesthesia roles mixed with unrelated jobs; filters rarely separate CRNA, CAA and physician practice models
A locum tenens or staffing agencyA recruiter who presents you, handles credentialing and often travel and malpracticeYou see that agency's jobs only; the agency sits between you and the facility
A professional society career centerListings tied to a national professional associationUsually one profession only; posting often costs employers money
Applying directly to a group or hospitalThe most direct route; no middlemanYou have to know who is hiring and check each employer's site yourself
Word of mouth (residency, school, colleagues)Inside knowledge of a group's culture and callLimited to your own network and region

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

A good fit if you…

  • Are an anesthesiologist, CRNA or CAA looking for permanent, PRN or locum work
  • Want to browse by state, city or map without creating an account first
  • Prefer to contact employers directly rather than through a recruiter
  • Are a CAA and want a list filtered to CAA roles
  • Are a group, hospital or agency that wants to post anesthesia jobs free
  • Are a student or new grad who wants school lists, licensing steps and contract basics in one place

Look elsewhere if you…

  • Work outside anesthesia (general nursing, surgical tech, perfusion)
  • Want someone to vet the employer and negotiate for you: that is a recruiter or attorney's job
  • Need a refund option on paid features: the Terms say all sales are final
  • Need legal, tax or financial advice on a contract
  • Want verified pay data on every listing: many listings don't state pay

Questions to ask before you apply or post

If you are a job seeker, ask the employer (the site doesn't verify listings):

  1. Is this a direct hire with the group or hospital, or an agency placement? If an agency, which facility is it?
  2. Is the role W-2 or 1099, and what exactly does the rate include (call, overtime, travel, housing, malpractice)?
  3. What is the practice model and supervision ratio, and what is the case mix?
  4. Who pays the malpractice tail, and is there a non-compete?
  5. Will you present my CV anywhere without my written permission?
  6. Is this listing still open? Check the Updated and Expires dates.

If you are an employer, ask AnesthesiaJobs.com:

  1. How long do unused features last in my account?
  2. What does advertising cost, and where would it appear?
  3. Can I upload many listings at once rather than one by one?

How to get started

  1. Job seekers: start from the full job list or the jobs-by-state pages, and filter by profession and duration.
  2. Create a job seeker account (no fee is listed) if you want to save jobs, apply through the site or set job alerts.
  3. Use the Compare Offers calculator and the contract guide once you have offers.
  4. Employers: read the pricing page, create an employer account and post your roles free; feature the hardest ones if you want.
  5. Questions: email support@anesthesiajobs.com or info@anesthesiajobs.com, or use the contact form.

  • PRN / per diem: as-needed shifts, more often local and more often on a payroll.
  • 1099 vs W-2: independent contractor vs employee; it changes taxes, benefits and who carries malpractice cover.
  • Care team model: anesthesiologists directing or supervising CRNAs or CAAs.
  • Malpractice tail: coverage for claims made after a claims-made policy ends; contracts say who pays for it.
  • ASA units: how anesthesia productivity pay is counted (base units plus time units).
