What is Boss Fight Club?
Boss Fight Club is a combat-sports gym in Kyiv. Its home page calls it a "Boxing Club in Pechersk, Kyiv," and the About page describes it as "a community built around boxing, kickboxing, Thai boxing and combat fitness." It has a single location, in the Pechersk district.
The club lists six disciplines, split by audience:
- Adults: Boxing, Thai Boxing, Kickboxing.
- Fitness: Fight Fitness, a conditioning class built on boxing and combat-sport drills.
- Kids: Boxing for Kids, Kickboxing for Kids.
Training comes in two forms: group classes and one-on-one personal training. The club says every session is 60 minutes. It describes its gym as a "brand-new facility" with new equipment, and its boxing page mentions "a full boxing ring with quality mitts, bags and protective gear included."
The club says it welcomes all levels, "from complete beginners to seasoned fighters." Its service pages each describe four tracks: beginner classes, personal training, intermediate and advanced classes, and supervised sparring for people who are ready for it. You don't need to want to compete. The fight-fitness page says most members of that class train "purely to get in shape" and that no sparring or competition is required.
The website runs in English and Ukrainian. Prices are in Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), and the terms say they "may change from time to time." The club also posts training videos on Instagram (@boss_fightclub) and TikTok (@boss_fight_club), and its Gallery page pulls from that Instagram feed.
Who owns or runs Boss Fight Club?
The website does not name an owner, a founder, a head coach or a legal entity. The About page, the terms and the privacy policy all refer to the business simply as "Boss Fight Club." It also does not give an opening date, although the home page calls it a "newly opened club."
What the site does publish is a team of nine coaches, each with a short profile (see Who are the coaches?). The home and About pages also show the figures "9+ Champion Coaches," "6 Disciplines" and "14 Years Coaching Exp.", which matches the longest coaching career listed on the team (14 years). One member review on the site mentions friendly administrators, so there is front-desk staff as well as coaches.
If you need the name of the business owner or the registered entity, for example for a receipt or a company sports benefit, ask when you call.
Is Boss Fight Club legit?
People usually ask this before paying for a package. Here is what you can check yourself:
- A street address you can visit. The club publishes a full address, Yevhena Konovaltsia St, 36e, Kyiv, 01133, with a Google Maps link on every page.
- A phone number and email. 097 544 6210 is on every page, and the email is bossfightclubpro@gmail.com.
- Published prices. The full price list is on the site in both languages, and the two versions match.
- Written policies. The site has Terms & Conditions, a Refund & Cancellation Policy, a Disclaimer, a Privacy Policy and a Cookie Policy. The terms, refund policy and disclaimer are each marked "Last updated: July 2026," and the terms say they are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
- Named coaches. Each coach is listed by name (one by first name only) with the discipline they teach and their sports background as the club states it.
- A public Google listing. The club's Reviews page quotes member reviews from Google and links to its Google listing, where you can read all reviews yourself.
- Public social accounts. Instagram and TikTok accounts show training sessions inside the gym.
The coaches' sports titles (Master of Sport, KMS and so on) are the club's own statements. We did not check them against a sports-federation register, so if a coach's competition record matters to you, ask the club or the coach directly.
What can you train there?
Each discipline has its own page on the site. Here is what each one says it covers.
| Discipline | Who it's for | What the club says it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Boxing | Adults, all levels | Fundamentals for beginners (stance, footwork, basic punches), then tactics, speed and power in intermediate and advanced classes; supervised sparring in a full ring for intermediate and advanced boxers |
| Thai Boxing (Muay Thai) | Adults, all levels | "The art of eight limbs": strikes with fists, elbows, knees and shins, plus clinch work and footwork; beginner classes start with stance, movement and basic strikes |
| Kickboxing | Adults, all levels | Boxing punches combined with kicks and knee strikes; the club says the program is coached by a European K-1 champion on its team |
| Fight Fitness | Adults, any fitness level | Boxing and combat-sport drills mixed with high-intensity conditioning and boxing-based intervals; scalable, with no sparring required |
| Boxing for Kids | Children | Stance, movement and basic strikes, coordination, discipline and respect; non-contact for beginners |
| Kickboxing for Kids | Children | Fundamental kickboxing techniques and movement, self-defense basics, self-discipline and teamwork; non-contact drills for beginners |
Boxing. The boxing page describes a program "designed to cater to all skill levels, from novice enthusiasts to seasoned fighters." Beginner classes focus on "essential techniques," and the page's FAQ says newcomers learn "stance, footwork and the basic punches step by step." Intermediate and advanced classes "dive deeper into the intricacies of boxing, refining your tactics, speed, and power." The club also lists a weekly "Boxing for Girls" group on its timetable, taught by its female boxing coach, although it has no separate page for it.
Thai boxing. The Muay Thai page invites you to "master the art of eight limbs" and says you will learn "authentic Muay Thai strikes, clinches, elbows and knees from KMSU-certified coaches." Its FAQ says beginner classes start with "the fundamentals of stance, movement and basic strikes in a supportive, no-pressure setting."
Kickboxing. The kickboxing page explains the difference simply: "Boxing uses punches only, while kickboxing adds kicks and knee strikes for a full-body striking game." Beginners learn "the basics in a supportive environment." The team includes a coach listed for kickboxing and K-1.
Fight fitness. This is the class for people who want the training without the fighting. The page describes it as a blend of "boxing and combat-sport drills with high-intensity conditioning." It says "any fitness level is welcome" and that classes are scalable, "so you work at your own pace." It is listed under the same adult prices as the other group classes.
Class levels, personal training and sparring
Every discipline page uses the same four-part structure. Here is how the club describes each track.
- Beginner classes. Built for people with no experience. The boxing FAQ answers "Do I need any experience to start boxing?" with "Not at all." The focus is on foundations: stance, guard, footwork and basic strikes.
- Personal training. One-on-one sessions "tailored to your specific needs and goals," with what the boxing page calls "an intense focus on technique, conditioning, and strategic planning." The pricing page describes it as "maximum immersion in your chosen discipline." The schedule page says personal training "can be booked at a time that suits you," so it is not tied to the group timetable. On Sundays the gym works by appointment only.
- Intermediate and advanced classes. For people past the basics. The pages talk about refining technique, speed, power and strategy, and say to "expect to be challenged."
- Sparring sessions. The boxing page says supervised sparring is "available for intermediate and advanced boxers" and happens "under controlled conditions." The club's beginner article is clear that "no beginner spars on day one" and that sparring "only comes much later, is always optional, and is closely supervised with protective gear."
Boxing and kickboxing for kids
Boss Fight Club runs two children's programs: Boxing for Kids and Kickboxing for Kids. Both have their own price list (see costs).
What the classes focus on. The kids' boxing page says the classes focus on "building confidence, fitness, and respect," and teach "the basics of stance, movement, and strike." The kickboxing page describes "a fun, safe way for kids in Kyiv to stay active, learn self-defense and build self-discipline."
Contact and sparring. According to the club, kids' sessions are "closely supervised" and "non-contact for beginners." For kickboxing, it says "any sparring is optional, closely supervised and protective-gear-based." Both pages also list intermediate, advanced and sparring tracks for older or more experienced children, and the boxing page mentions preparing for competition.
Age. The site does not publish a minimum or maximum age. Asked "What age can kids start boxing?", its FAQ says to "reach out and we'll advise on the best fit for your child." Call before you bring a young child.
What to bring. For boxing: "comfortable sportswear, indoor shoes and water." The club says it provides the equipment needed to start. For kickboxing, it says it provides pads and gloves.
When. On the published timetable, Boxing for Kids runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 17:00 with coach Oleksandra. The timetable does not show a separate kids' kickboxing slot, so ask for current kickboxing times.
Parents' responsibilities. The club's Disclaimer says children's classes are supervised by its coaches, and that "parents and guardians are responsible for confirming their child's suitability to participate and for disclosing any relevant medical conditions."
Who are the coaches?
The site lists nine coaches. The profiles below are the club's own descriptions, shortened. We have not checked the titles or records with sports federations.
| Coach | Listed for | Background, as the club states it |
|---|---|---|
| Dmytro Tulub | MMA, Muay Thai | Master of Sport in MMA; 3-time world pankration champion; 5-time world hand-to-hand champion; 8 years coaching |
| Victor Karpenko | MMA, submission | Ukraine MMA champion; submission-fight specialist (KMS); Hard Combat 2x2 Grand Prix winner |
| Oleksandra | Boxing | KMS in classical boxing; qualified boxing coach with 6 years of training experience |
| Evgeniy Shevchenko | Kickboxing, K-1 | Pro kickboxer, 33 bouts and 26 wins; European K-1 champion; world vice-champion; Kunlun Fight competitor |
| Rasul Mirzaev | Muay Thai | KMSU in Muay Thai; master's graduate of LNU; 4 years of coaching |
| Rassolov Vladyslav | Boxing | Master of Sport of Ukraine; professional boxer; multiple Ukrainian Championship winner; 6 years coaching |
| Vitaliy Gordyan | Boxing, fitness | Coaches boxing technique and combat-fitness conditioning |
| Alexandr Kroshka | Boxing | Professional boxing coach; group and individual sessions for every level |
| Eugene Smetana | Boxing | Master of Sport of Ukraine in boxing; youth and junior champion; World Championship competitor; 14 years coaching |
A few things to know when reading this list:
- Two coaches are listed for MMA. The club does not sell MMA as a class, so their profiles mostly matter for the Thai boxing and kickboxing groups and for personal training.
- The timetable uses first names (Oleksandra, Eugene, Vlad, Dmytro, Dmitri, Valery). A coach shown as Valery teaches Thai boxing evenings on the timetable but does not appear on the team list, so the line-up is likely to change from time to time.
- The team page does not say which coaches teach kids, other than the timetable showing Oleksandra on the kids' boxing slot.
What is the class schedule?
The Class Schedules page shows a weekly group timetable. As published on 22 October 2026:
| Time | Monday, Wednesday, Friday | Tuesday, Thursday | Saturday |
|---|---|---|---|
| 07:00 | Boxing (Oleksandra) | No group class listed | No group class listed |
| 09:00 | Boxing (Eugene) | No group class listed | No group class listed |
| 12:00 | No group class listed | No group class listed | Thai Boxing (Dmytro) |
| 17:00 | Boxing for Kids (Oleksandra) | No group class listed | No group class listed |
| 18:00 | Boxing for Girls (Oleksandra) | No group class listed | No group class listed |
| 18:30 | Boxing (Vlad) | No group class listed | No group class listed |
| 19:30 | Thai Boxing (Valery) | Thai Boxing (Dmitri) | No group class listed |
Notes on the timetable:
- Sunday is by reservation only, according to the schedule page.
- The club says "times may vary" and asks you to call 097 544 6210 or use the Schedule Now button to confirm your class.
- The timetable does not show dedicated kickboxing, fight-fitness or kids' kickboxing groups, even though those are sold as services. Ask the club when those run, or whether they are offered as personal training.
- Outside the group slots, the gym is open for personal training during its normal hours.
How much does Boss Fight Club cost?
Boss Fight Club publishes its prices. Every session is 60 minutes, and packages are valid for 30 days from purchase. The pricing page says you can "choose boxing, kickboxing or Thai boxing," and the fight-fitness page says the same adult packages apply to that class.
| Option | Price | Works out to per session |
|---|---|---|
| Adults, 12 group sessions | 4500 UAH | 375 UAH |
| Adults, 8 group sessions | 3800 UAH | 475 UAH |
| Adults, 6 group sessions | 3000 UAH | 500 UAH |
| Adults, single group session | 600 UAH | 600 UAH |
| Kids, 12 group sessions | 3800 UAH | about 317 UAH |
| Kids, 8 group sessions | 3400 UAH | 425 UAH |
| Kids, 6 group sessions | 2900 UAH | about 483 UAH |
| Personal training, single session | 1700 UAH | 1700 UAH |
| Personal training, 10 sessions | 15000 UAH | 1500 UAH |
The per-session figures are our arithmetic from the published package prices. A few points the price list doesn't spell out:
- Use it within 30 days. The refund policy says unused sessions "expire at the end of the validity period." A 12-session package means about three classes a week to use it all.
- No trial price is published. There is no free or discounted first class on the price list. The cheapest way to try a group class is the 600 UAH single session. One blog post invites readers to "book a trial class," so ask what a first visit costs.
- No membership or joining fee appears anywhere on the site.
- Family options. The kids' kickboxing page says to call "for family options." No family or sibling discount is published.
- What's included. The pricing page says every session includes coaching, access to the gym, and "programs for every level." The club says it can provide gloves and wraps for your first session.
- Payment. The terms say you can book online, by phone or in person, and that "payment is due at or before the time of your session unless otherwise agreed." The site does not list which payment methods it accepts (card, cash or transfer), so ask when you book.
Where is it, and when is it open?
Address: Yevhena Konovaltsia St, 36e, Kyiv, 01133 (in Ukrainian: Вулиця Євгена Коновальця, 36e). This is in the Pechersk district. The club describes it as "in the heart of Pechersk" and "easy to reach from across the city." It does not publish directions, parking or the nearest metro station, so use the Google Maps link on the contact page or call.
Opening hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 to 21:00
- Saturday: 8:00 to 18:00
- Sunday: by appointment
Contact: phone 097 544 6210 (from abroad, +380 97 544 6210), email bossfightclubpro@gmail.com, or the "Schedule a Boxing Session" form on any page. The form asks for your name, phone, email, the service you want and a comment, and the club says it will "call you back to confirm."
Online training: the site does not offer online or remote classes. All training is at the Pechersk gym.
The site does not mention changing rooms, showers or lockers. The kids' and beginners' pages mention indoor shoes, so plan to bring a clean pair.
What happens at your first class
The club's blog post "Boxing for Beginners: What Really Happens in Your First Class" describes a typical beginner session. Here is the order it gives:
- Warm-up, 10 to 15 minutes: skipping, light movement, mobility and some shadow boxing.
- Technique, 15 to 20 minutes: the coach teaches or reviews fundamentals, such as stance, guard, the jab and basic footwork.
- Bag and pad work, 15 to 20 minutes: you practice on the heavy bag, and sometimes on the coach's pads, at your own pace.
- Conditioning and cool-down, about 10 minutes: core work and stretching.
The same article says there is "no sparring, no getting hit" on day one.
What to bring, according to the club's pages:
- Comfortable sportswear you can move and sweat in
- Water
- Indoor training shoes
- Hand wraps and gloves if you have them. If not, the club says it can provide gloves and wraps for your first session, and that most members buy their own gloves once they settle into a routine. For kickboxing, it suggests eventually getting your own gloves and shin guards.
Booking it: use the Schedule Now form or call. The club confirms the time by phone. The article suggests arriving a few minutes early "to meet the coach and wrap your hands properly."
Refunds, cancellations and other policies
The club's Refund & Cancellation Policy (last updated July 2026) is short and strict. In summary:
| What you bought | The policy |
|---|---|
| Group packages (6, 8 or 12 sessions) | Valid 30 days from purchase. Non-refundable once purchased, because they are sold at a discounted rate. Unused sessions expire. |
| Single sessions | Non-refundable, but can be rescheduled with at least 12 hours' notice, subject to availability. |
| Personal training | Free to reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours' notice. With less notice, you may be charged in full. |
| Missed sessions | Missed without notice: treated as used, no refund. |
| Injury or illness | With documentation, the club "may, at our discretion" freeze your package or give a credit toward future sessions. |
To cancel, reschedule or ask for a credit, the policy says to contact the club by phone (097 544 6210) or email (bossfightclubpro@gmail.com) "as early as possible."
The Terms & Conditions add a few rules:
- Packages and single sessions are "personal to you, non-transferable." You can't share a package with a friend.
- Members must treat coaches, staff and other members with respect and follow safety instructions. The club "reserve[s] the right to refuse or withdraw service from anyone behaving unsafely or disrespectfully."
- Prices may change; the terms are governed by Ukrainian law.
Safety, health and risk
Boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai are contact sports. The club's own Disclaimer says they are "physically demanding contact activities that carry an inherent risk of injury," and that by training there "you voluntarily accept these risks."
What the club asks of members:
- It says you "should consult a physician before starting any new exercise program."
- By taking part, you confirm you are in good health and agree to tell your coach about any injuries or medical conditions.
- Use equipment as instructed and report anything damaged.
The Disclaimer also includes a release of liability: the club, its coaches and staff are not liable for injury, loss or damage from taking part, "except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct," to the extent the law allows.
On the safety side, the club says beginners do not spar, sparring is optional and supervised with protective gear, and kids' beginner classes are non-contact. If you have a heart condition, a past head injury, are pregnant, or have any joint or back problem, ask your doctor first and tell the coach before the class.
This guide is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or other licensed clinician before starting a combat sport or a high-intensity training program.
Boxing, kickboxing or Muay Thai: which one?
All three are on offer at the same gym and under the same prices, so many people ask which to start with. The club's blog post "Boxing vs Kickboxing vs Muay Thai" lays out its view:
- Boxing: "hands only, sharpest fundamentals." Punches, head movement and footwork. The club calls it "the most beginner-friendly entry point because you are learning fewer weapons."
- Kickboxing: "punches plus kicks, big variety." A boxing base with leg and body kicks, suited to people who want a full-body striking game without the full complexity of Muay Thai.
- Muay Thai: "the art of eight limbs." Fists, elbows, knees and shins, plus the clinch (close-range grappling to land knees and off-balance an opponent).
The article's own advice is that the right choice "depends entirely on your goals," and that many members cross-train. The pricing page says you can "choose boxing, kickboxing or Thai boxing" at the same prices, but it does not say whether one package can mix disciplines, so ask when you buy.
If you don't want to strike a partner at all, fight fitness is the class built around drills and conditioning rather than fighting.
How it compares with other ways to train
There are several ways to learn a combat sport or get a boxing-style workout. Here is how Boss Fight Club's published setup compares with common alternatives, in general terms.
| Option | Typical setup | How Boss Fight Club's setup differs |
|---|---|---|
| A large chain fitness club with boxing-style group classes | Monthly membership covering the gym floor, pool and many class types; boxing-style classes are usually fitness-only with no sparring | Boss Fight Club sells session packages only for combat sports and fight fitness, with sparring available for intermediate and advanced members and coaches who list competition backgrounds |
| A traditional boxing section or sports school | Focus on young athletes and competition, regular training several times a week, often by enrollment | Boss Fight Club takes adults and kids, beginners included, and sells single classes and short packages, so you can try it without long commitment |
| A solo private coach | One coach, one style, flexible time and location | Boss Fight Club offers personal training too (1700 UAH a session) but with a full ring and bags, and a choice of coaches and disciplines |
| A specialist MMA or Muay Thai-only gym | Deep focus on one sport, often with grappling or competition teams | Boss Fight Club covers boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai under one price list; it does not sell MMA or grappling classes |
Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere
A good fit if you…
- live or work near Pechersk in central Kyiv
- are a complete beginner and want classes where sparring is optional
- want to try boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai under one price list
- want a boxing-based workout without fighting (fight fitness)
- want one-on-one coaching at a time that suits you
- are looking for a kids' boxing or kickboxing class with supervised, non-contact beginner sessions
- prefer short packages (30 days) to a long membership
- want an early morning class (7:00 boxing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
Look elsewhere if you…
- want MMA, wrestling or Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes
- need online or remote classes
- can't train often and need a package that lasts longer than 30 days
- want a refundable package (group packages are non-refundable)
- need daily group classes in kickboxing or fight fitness (none are on the published timetable)
- need a free trial class (none is published)
Questions to ask before you sign up
- What does a first visit cost, and is there a trial class?
- Which payment methods do you accept: card, cash, bank transfer?
- Can I use one package for different disciplines, for example boxing and Thai boxing?
- When do kickboxing, fight-fitness and kids' kickboxing groups run this month?
- Which coach teaches the class I want, and how many people are usually in it?
- What is the minimum age for the kids' classes, and which coach teaches them?
- How do you decide when someone is ready for intermediate classes or sparring?
- What protective gear do I need for sparring, and do you lend it?
- Can a package be frozen if I travel or get sick, and what documentation do you need?
- Do you have changing rooms, showers and lockers?
How to get started
- Pick a discipline: boxing, Thai boxing, kickboxing, fight fitness, or a kids' class. If unsure, the club's own advice is that boxing is the easiest starting point.
- Check the timetable on the Class Schedules page for a group slot, or decide on personal training.
- Book through the Schedule Now form (name, phone, email, service, comment) or call 097 544 6210. The club calls you back to confirm the time.
- Bring sportswear, water and indoor shoes. Gloves and wraps can be provided for the first session.
- Pay at or before the session, as the terms require. Start with a single 600 UAH class if you want to test the fit before buying a package.
- Buy a package once you know how often you'll train. Remember it runs for 30 days and is non-refundable.
Terms you'll see on the site
- Muay Thai / Thai boxing: a striking sport from Thailand using fists, elbows, knees and shins, called "the art of eight limbs."
- Kickboxing: stand-up striking that combines boxing punches with kicks (and, in some rules, knees).
- K-1: a kickboxing rule set that allows punches, kicks and knee strikes.
- Fight fitness: the club's name for a conditioning class built from boxing and combat-sport drills, with no sparring required.
- Sparring: controlled practice fighting with a partner, with protective gear. At this club it is for intermediate and advanced members and is optional.
- Clinch: close-range grappling while standing, used in Muay Thai to control an opponent and land knees.
- Hand wraps: cloth strips wound around the hands and wrists under gloves.
- Master of Sport / KMS / KMSU: sports titles used in Ukraine's sports ranking system. KMS stands for Candidate for Master of Sport; the site uses KMSU for the Ukrainian version of that title. The club uses these terms in its coach profiles.
- Pankration and hand-to-hand combat: combat sports that mix striking and grappling, listed in one coach's competition record.
