Prices and availability change, so confirm them on justicesalon1111.com or the booking page before you book.

What is Salon 11:11?

Salon 11:11 is a small, appointment-only hair studio in Hermosa Beach, in the South Bay of Los Angeles County. It is a single private studio suite rather than an open salon floor. The salon describes the setup plainly: "No front desk to get past, no waiting room buzz." You book directly with the stylist, Justice Pallais, and she does the whole appointment herself, from the consultation to the final style.

The salon's headline is "Lived-In Color & Luxury Hair," and color is where most of its published material goes. According to its site, Justice specializes in "lived-in blonding, dimensional color, precision cutting, and seamless extensions." The four service lines on the website are Color & Blonding, Haircuts, Hair Extensions, and Blow Dry & Style. The online booking page adds a few extras: a curl style, a special occasion updo, a moisture treatment and a keratin smoothing treatment.

The name nods to the habit of making a wish when a clock reads 11:11. The site's About page says the studio was "inspired by the idea of intention and fresh beginnings."

Two things set the format apart from a typical salon, and both are worth knowing before you book:

  • It is one person. You will never be handed to an assistant or a junior stylist. The flip side is that availability depends on one calendar.
  • It is by appointment only. The contact page FAQ says there are no walk-ins, "so every visit is booked ahead."

Who runs Salon 11:11?

The website names one stylist: Justice Pallais. The About page describes her as a South Bay native who "has always known the beauty industry was where she was meant to be." It lists her focus as lived-in blonding, dimensional color and balayage, plus hair extensions. The About page sums up her approach as "honest communication, attention to detail, and building long-term relationships with every client who sits in her chair." The salon's blog articles are published under her byline.

The booking page, hosted on GlossGenius, lists Justice Pallais as the only provider, so whoever you book, you get her. The site does not name any other staff.

The site does not publish how long Justice has been doing hair or when the salon opened, so this guide doesn't give a year.

Is Salon 11:11 legit?

Here is what a new client can check for themselves:

  • A real, published address. The website and the booking page both give 1559 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 202, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.
  • A named stylist. The site names the person who will do your hair, with a photo and a bio.
  • Published prices and policies. The booking page lists a price and an appointment length for each service, and shows the cancellation policy before you confirm.
  • Several ways to reach a person. Phone, email, Instagram and a contact form, all answered by Justice according to the site.

State licensing. In California, anyone who cuts or colors hair for pay needs a cosmetology license from the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. The site does not list a license number. You can look up any stylist by name on the state's free Department of Consumer Affairs license search, or simply ask at your consultation.

Reviews and past work. Search the salon's name on Google to read client reviews, and look at the work on the gallery page and on Instagram (@justice.salon1111), which the salon points to "for the latest."

Color and blonding services

Color is the salon's main line of work. The services page lists balayage and foilyage, full and partial highlights, blonding and bright blondes, all-over and root color, glosses and toners, and "lived-in, low-maintenance color." The salon says every formula is "customized to your skin tone, lifestyle, and how much upkeep you want."

On the booking page, color services are sold on their own or paired with a haircut. Each one includes a shampoo and Justice's signature blowout, and the lightening services include a custom toner or gloss.

ServiceWhat the booking page says it includesPrice shown
Gloss + BlowdryA customized gloss to refresh shine and tone, finished with a blowout$100
Root Touch-UpUp to two inches of regrowth coverage, shampoo and blowout$125
All Over ColorEven color from roots to ends, shampoo and blowoutfrom $185
Mini Partial Highlight"A few foils around the hairline and part," custom toner, shampoo and blowout$185
Partial HighlightBrightness through the top and sides while keeping depth, toner and blowoutfrom $225
Full HighlightAll-over dimension, from soft and natural to a brighter blonde, toner and blowoutfrom $285
BalayageBlended, low-maintenance color with a soft grow-out, custom gloss and blowout$315
Root Touch-Up + HighlightsBase color refresh (including gray coverage) plus highlights, with blowoutfrom $350

"From" means the booking page marks that price as variable. The website itself says color "pricing is customized per service" and that a consultation comes first, so treat these as starting points rather than a final quote.

Balayage or highlights? The salon's own article on the topic explains the difference as the way the color goes on. Foils are woven sections lightened close to the root, which gives an even, brighter result and a visible grow-out line; the article suggests returning roughly every six to eight weeks. Balayage is painted freehand further from the root and grows out softly; the article says many people stretch it to 12 to 16 weeks. It adds that "plenty of appointments use both," and that a lot of the work at the salon is foils around the face with balayage elsewhere.

Beach hair. Because the studio is a few blocks from the ocean, several articles cover salt, chlorine and sun. The salon's advice is to rinse hair with clean water before swimming, use cooler water when washing, and book a gloss partway between full color appointments to keep tone from turning brassy.

Haircuts

The haircut menu on the website covers women's cut and style, men's cuts, dry and texture cutting, fringe and bang trims, and restyle consultations. Each cut "begins with a conversation about your texture, face shape, and daily routine," and includes a consultation, the cut and a finishing style.

  • Men's Haircut, $50. A precision cut with shampoo, scalp massage and styling.
  • Women's Haircut, $90. A customized cut with shampoo and signature blowout. The booking page notes it "can be added onto any color service."

Cut-and-color combinations are listed as their own services on the booking page, for example Gloss + Haircut (from $190), Root Touch Up + Haircut (from $215), All Over Color + Haircut (from $275), Mini Partial Highlight + Haircut ($275), Partial Highlight + Haircut (from $315), Full Highlight + Haircut ($375), Balayage + Haircut (from $405) and Root Touch Up + Highlights + Haircut (from $440).

Hair extensions

Extensions are the second specialty the salon highlights. The services page lists these methods and services:

  • Hand-tied wefts
  • Volume wefts
  • Tape-in extensions
  • I-tip extensions
  • Keratin bond extensions
  • Custom color matching
  • Maintenance and move-ups
  • Extension removals
  • Extension consultations

The salon does not say which hair brands it uses.

A consultation is required first. "All extension services begin with a required consultation and custom color match," the services page says. On the booking page the Hair Extension Consultation is free and takes about 30 minutes. In it, the salon says, you'll "discuss your hair goals, recommend the best extension method, perform a custom color match, review pricing, and answer any questions."

Pricing is quoted, not listed. The installation itself shows no set price on the booking page. It "varies depending on the extension method and the amount of hair needed." The salon's article on hand-tied extension costs explains why. You are paying for two things: the hair, bought by weight and length (the article says a quality set can be reused for about 9 to 18 months with care), and the labor, which depends on how many rows you need and how complex the color match is. Length above 20 inches, thicker hair and blended blonde shades all push the cost up.

Plan for upkeep. The same article says most people need a move-up every six to ten weeks, and suggests budgeting for a full year (the hair, the install and roughly six to eight move-ups) rather than for day one. On the booking page, maintenance starts at $60 and removal at $100, and both vary by method and amount of hair.

Come with clean hair. The booking page says extension clients must arrive "with freshly shampooed, clarified, and completely dry hair." If you don't, a $65 Extension Clarifying Wash & Blowdry is added before the service.

The salon's extension articles also give care advice: wash two or three times a week, dry the attachment rows fully before sleeping, sleep in a loose braid, brush with an extension brush, and book a move-up sooner if you feel tightness or matting.

Blowouts, styling and treatments

The website's Blow Dry & Style menu lists a Signature Blowout, the Sunday Signature Blowout, a Blowout with Extensions, and a styling add-on to any service. The booking page has the details:

ServiceWhat's includedPrice shown
Signature Curl StyleCurls or waves on clean, dry hair$35
Sunday Blowout SpecialThe signature blowout, Sundays only$60
Signature BlowoutShampoo and blowout, smooth, polished or voluminous$80
Blowout With ExtensionsExtra time to cleanse, dry and style natural hair and extensions$100
Special Occasion Styling & UpdoWash, blowdry, curl or texture prep and a finished updo or pinned stylefrom $125
Olaplex Moisture TreatmentA hydration add-on, suggested with blonding services$35
Keratin Smoothing TreatmentA smoothing treatment for frizz; the salon says results "can last up to five months with proper aftercare"from $275

The $60 Sunday blowout. This is the salon's standing offer, and the site frames it as a low-pressure way to meet the stylist before planning color or extensions: "If we're the right fit, I'd love to help you achieve your long-term hair goals." The booking page notes that it is available on Sundays only, and that blowouts on other days are charged the regular $80 rate.

How much does Salon 11:11 cost?

These are the prices shown on the Salon 11:11 booking page on 19 October 2026. "From" marks prices the page shows as variable. The final price for color depends on your hair and is settled at the consultation.

CategoryRange shownExamples
Styling$35 to $125+Curl style $35; Sunday blowout $60; Signature Blowout $80; with extensions $100; updo from $125

What changes the price. For color, the salon points to the consultation: your hair history, how light you want to go, and how often you want to come back all shape the plan. For extensions, the method, how much hair you need, its length and the color match set the number.

Gift cards. The booking page did not offer gift cards for sale when we checked. Call the salon if you want to give an appointment as a gift.

Insurance and financing. Hair services are not covered by health insurance. The site does not publish a financing plan.

How long do appointments take?

The booking page lists a length for each service. These are the times shown when we checked; add a little time if it's your first visit.

Big blonding changes can take more than one visit. The salon's consultation article says the honest answer is sometimes "two or three [appointments] spaced out to protect the integrity of the hair," and that this gets said before anything is mixed.

How booking works, step by step

  1. Pick a starting point. If you know what you want, book the service directly. If you don't, the services page invites you to book a complimentary consultation, or try the $60 Sunday blowout as an introduction.
  2. Book online. The Book Now buttons on the website ask for your name, email and phone, then send you to the salon's GlossGenius booking page. There you see real-time availability and choose a time.
  3. Note the cancellation policy. The booking page carries the 48-hour cancellation policy, so read it before you confirm.
  4. Prepare. For a color consultation, the salon's article suggests bringing photos of what you want and one of what you don't, whatever you know about past color (including box dye or keratin treatments), and wearing your hair the way you normally do. For extensions, arrive with clean, clarified, dry hair.
  5. Consultation first. "Every service begins with a consultation," the site says. Your goals, lifestyle and how often you want to come back shape the plan "before we pick up a brush."
  6. The appointment. One-on-one in the suite. Most color and cut services finish with a blowout.
  7. Follow-up. Plan the next visit around the upkeep you chose: a gloss between color services, or a move-up every six to ten weeks for extensions.

Prefer not to book online? Call (310) 528-4720, email justice.salon1111@gmail.com, message @justice.salon1111 on Instagram, or use the form on the contact page. The site says Justice will "get back to you personally."

Cancellation, payment and other policies

  • Cancellations. The booking page says: "Appointments cancelled within 48 hours will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee based on the scheduled services."
  • Walk-ins. Not accepted. Every visit is booked ahead.
  • Clean hair for extensions. Required; otherwise a $65 clarifying wash is added.
  • Sunday pricing. The $60 blowout price applies on Sundays only; other days are $80.
  • Payment. The booking runs through GlossGenius, and the salon's privacy policy notes that payment details, "where applicable," are handled there, not on the salon's own website. The site does not list accepted payment methods; ask when you book.
  • Deposits, late arrivals, redo policy. Not published on the website. Ask before your first appointment, especially for a long color service or an extension install.
  • Privacy. The salon's privacy policy says it does not sell personal information collected through its website.

Where is it, and what areas does it serve?

The studio is at 1559 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 202, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, "just off Pacific Coast Highway in the heart of Hermosa Beach." The contact page says there is "complimentary parking nearby" and has a map and a directions link.

Hours. The website lists every day of the week as "By appointment only." Open times are shown on the booking page, which updates in real time.

Areas served. Salon 11:11 is one location. Its "Areas served" pages list 88 cities across Los Angeles County, from the beach cities (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Hermosa Beach) and the inland South Bay (Torrance, Gardena, Hawthorne and others) to the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Long Beach, the Westside, the San Gabriel Valley and beyond. The site is clear that this is "not a chain, and not a location in each of these towns." The pages are about what clients from each area tend to ask for and what the trip to Hermosa Beach involves.

Spanish. The website has a full Spanish-language version at justicesalon1111.com/es.

Weddings, events and the holidays

The booking page offers a Special Occasion Styling & Updo (from $125, about 90 minutes) for "weddings, events, photoshoots, or any special occasion," done at the suite. The site does not describe on-location or bridal-party services, so ask directly if you need that.

The salon's wedding hair timeline article suggests working backward from the date:

  • Six to nine months out: talk through any big color change or extensions.
  • Three to four months out: start the color plan, and do the extension consultation and color match so hair can be ordered.
  • Six to eight weeks out: the style trial, with your accessories.
  • Ten to fourteen days out: final color, so it can settle after a wash or two.
  • One week out: a trim, not a new shape.
  • The day before or that morning: the blowout.

For the holiday season, the salon runs a Holiday Hair page grouping a color refresh before photos, party blowouts, extensions for New Year's Eve, holiday wedding and event hair, and a year-end trim. It recommends booking color ten days to two weeks ahead of an event and starting the extension conversation early, because "new extensions want a few weeks to settle."

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

A good fit if you…

  • Want lived-in blonde, balayage or dimensional color planned around how often you want to come back
  • Prefer one stylist who knows your hair, in a quiet private room
  • Want extensions and are happy to start with a consultation and color match
  • Live or work in the South Bay and can plan visits ahead
  • Want to try a stylist first: the $60 Sunday blowout is designed for that

Look elsewhere if you…

  • Need a walk-in or same-hour appointment
  • Want a fixed, all-in extension price before anyone sees your hair
  • Need a team for a large bridal party or on-location styling (the site doesn't describe this service)
  • Want gift cards to buy online (not offered on the booking page when we checked)
  • Have a scalp or hair-loss concern: see a dermatologist or other licensed clinician first

Questions to ask before you book

  1. Is my color goal one appointment or a plan? If a plan, how many visits and how far apart? (The salon's own consultation article suggests asking this.)
  2. What will my color look like at eight weeks, and at sixteen?
  3. For extensions: which method do you recommend for my hair density, and what is the total first-year cost including move-ups?
  4. Is a deposit taken, and what happens if I'm running late?
  5. Which payment methods do you accept?
  6. How far ahead should I book for a holiday or wedding date?
  7. What should I do at home to keep my color or extensions looking right?
