OC3PL is an eSEOspace client: we work on its website and search marketing. This guide uses the company's own published information, checked on 19 October 2026, and every source is listed at the end. We don't rate or score our clients. Terms and turnaround times change, so confirm them on oc3pl.com or with the OC3PL team before you sign.

The short answer

OC3PL (Orange County 3PL) is a third-party logistics company that runs an ecommerce fulfillment warehouse at 1150 N Miller St in Anaheim, California. It receives and stores a brand's inventory, then picks, packs and ships orders, handles returns, builds kits and subscription boxes, preps inventory for Amazon FBA and ships wholesale purchase orders. It serves direct-to-consumer brands, Amazon sellers, startups and larger apparel, supplement and subscription brands. OC3PL does not publish a rate card: it quotes each brand from its SKUs and order volume, bills weekly, pro-rates storage daily and says it has no order minimums or long-term contract. Reach it at 949-424-0790 or Hello@oc3pl.com.

What is OC3PL?

OC3PL is short for Orange County 3PL, the name the company uses in its own site markup. A 3PL (third-party logistics provider) is a company you hand your physical inventory to so it can store your products and ship your customers' orders. OC3PL's FAQ puts it simply: it stores your inventory in its Southern California warehouse, fulfills orders as they come in, coordinates carriers, receives and processes returns, and syncs everything back to your store.

The company aims at ecommerce brands rather than freight or industrial shippers. Its main menu lists six solutions:

  • E-commerce order fulfillment for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands selling on Shopify, Amazon and similar channels.
  • Retail and wholesale fulfillment for brands shipping purchase orders to stores and retailers.
  • Subscription boxes and drops, including recurring kits and timed merch launches.
  • Apparel fulfillment for catalogs with many sizes and colors.
  • Startups, including pre-launch brands with no order history.
  • Amazon FBA prep, getting inventory labeled and packed to Amazon's rules.

It also publishes separate guides for supplement brands and for apparel brands shipping a thousand orders a month or more, plus a peak-season plan. Its main selling points, in its own words, are an account manager who works on site at the Anaheim warehouse, support that is "never outsourced", same-day shipping on orders in by noon Pacific, and transparent weekly billing.

Who owns and runs OC3PL?

The site's team page lists seven people by first name and last initial, each with a one-line description of what they do:

Name as listedRole as listed
Cole P.Founder / Business Development
Terrie C.Onboarding and Client Success
Danielle S.Project Manager (custom projects and wholesale orders)
Nick M.Senior Account Manager
Mike S.Inventory Management
Ashley W.Carrier / Vendor Management
Peaches C.Human Resources

The founder's full name, Cole Pinder, appears on the company blog's author page, which credits him with articles on billing, 3PL pricing and advice for growing ecommerce brands. The site does not publish an ownership structure, a founding year or a legal entity name, so if those matter for your vendor paperwork, ask for them directly.

Is OC3PL legit?

A fulfillment company holds your inventory, so this is a fair question. Here is what can be checked from the outside:

  • A real street address you can visit. The contact page lists 1150 N Miller St, Anaheim, CA 92806, and the company invites prospective clients to schedule a warehouse tour "before you sign anything."
  • Named people. The team page names the founder and six staff, and the blog names the founder in full.
  • Named clients. The site names several brands it ships for or has worked with: Teddy Fresh (a Los Angeles streetwear brand), Sleepwhale (a supplement brand), and case-study clients Epic Beauty, Firefly and Ozobot. These are the company's own statements; you can ask for a reference.
  • Published policies. There is an Acceptable Products Policy and a privacy policy, and the pricing page explains exactly how invoices are built.
  • Customer comments. The team, contact and results pages show five short testimonials from named customers, for example one saying the reviewer has been with OC3PL "for over 2 years" and that it has handled six of their brands. These are selected and displayed by the company.

We did not find a Better Business Bureau profile or an independent review site with enough history to add to that picture, so we have not quoted one. The most useful check is the one the company offers: tour the building, watch how orders are scanned and packed, and ask to speak to a current client with a catalog like yours.

Where is OC3PL, and what areas does it serve?

The warehouse is at 1150 N Miller St, Anaheim, CA 92806, in north Orange County. The company says this location puts it close to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach for inbound container freight, close to major carrier sorting hubs (which supports later same-day cutoffs), and a short truck drive from several Amazon receiving centers in Southern California and the Inland Empire.

OC3PL ships nationwide. Its FAQ gives these ground transit estimates from Orange County:

DestinationCompany's ground estimate
West Coast (Los Angeles, San Diego, the Bay Area, and nearby states)1 to 2 days
Midwest3 to 4 days
East Coast4 to 5 days

The company also says many of its clients reach more than 80% of US customers within three days by ground. Actual transit depends on the carrier and service chosen for each order. Brands outside California use OC3PL as their main warehouse or as a West Coast location, according to the FAQ.

Hours. The site does not publish office or warehouse hours. It says client requests are acknowledged within two hours, and its apparel guide tells clients to "call anytime." For anything time-sensitive, ask your account manager how to reach them after the working day.

Fulfillment services, one by one

Each service has its own page on the site. Here is what each one covers, with the turnaround times the company publishes.

ServiceWhat it coversPublished timing
E-commerce order fulfillmentDTC orders from your store, scanned picking, branded packouts, live tracking, returns, weekly reviews and monthly planningConnected in under five business days; same-day shipping on orders in by 12 PM PST

ApparelSlotting by size, color and style, folding and bagging to your instructions, drops, restocks, exchangesNew collections slotted within one business day of receipt
StartupsPlanning call, SKU setup, packaging guidance, the same workflows as larger clients, no volume minimumsShipping within 5 to 10 business days

Custom kitting and assemblyKitting-to-stock or kitting-to-order, QA checkpoints, photo verification on complex builds, line-item assembly reportsMost builds within 24 to 48 hours
Returns managementOptional branded return portal, inspection, restock, donate or discard by your rules, monthly return-reason reportsProcessed within 48 hours of receipt, many the same day

E-commerce fulfillment. This is the core service. Orders flow in from your store through an integration, are picked with a barcode scan and bin confirmation, checked again at the packing station, and handed to a carrier. Tracking goes back to your store, which then notifies your customer. The company supports inserts, stickers, wraps, mailers and custom boxes, and says it packs "to your exact brand spec."

Retail and wholesale. The site's point is that a wholesale order is not just a big parcel: it has to follow the retailer's routing guide, labeling rules and ASN requirements, or the brand gets charged back. OC3PL says it builds a workflow per retailer and ships DTC and wholesale from the same inventory. It connects directly to Faire, the wholesale marketplace, and notes that Faire orders ship as parcels rather than pallets.

Subscription boxes and drops. Planning starts before inventory arrives: timelines, volumes and product mix. Kits are built with quality checks, shipped in a batch or on your subscribers' cadence, and followed by a campaign report. The company supports recurring monthly kits and one-off flash campaigns, and says you do not have to use any particular subscription app.

Apparel. Apparel has its own hub on the site, written for streetwear, surf and fashion brands shipping a thousand orders a month or more. It stresses slotting every style by size and color, a scan on every pick so the right size goes in the box, labor planned from your drop forecast, and fast exchanges. Brands still growing toward that volume are welcome, as there are no order minimums.

Supplements. The supplement page says OC3PL captures the lot number and expiration date at receiving, enforces First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) picking, can trace which orders contained a given lot, and stores product indoors in temperature- and humidity-controlled space. It is explicit that it does not offer refrigerated or frozen storage, so products that must be kept cold are not a fit.

Amazon FBA prep. OC3PL can work as a prep center that receives, inspects, labels and forwards inventory into Amazon's network, or fulfill Amazon orders directly from its own warehouse (Fulfillment by Merchant). You can use your own carriers or Amazon-partnered shipping for FBA shipments.

What happens to your inventory, step by step

The company's process pages describe the life of a unit in six stages.

  1. Receiving. You book a dock appointment and send an advance shipping notice (ASN). On arrival, pallets are unloaded into a receiving zone, inspected for damage and matched against the ASN. Each SKU is scanned or entered with photo capture, then slotted by SKU, size and pick frequency. The company's receiving target is one business day, "assuming the shipment is labeled and scheduled." Missing or damaged units are logged in your portal and you are notified.
  2. Storage. Inventory sits in assigned bin, shelf or pallet locations. You can see SKU-level counts and inbound status in the client portal, and set alerts for low stock.
  3. Order import. Orders arrive from your store or marketplace through the integration. The system checks stock, shipping method and any special instructions, then creates a pick ticket.
  4. Pick and pack. Pickers scan each item with a cross-check and bin confirmation. At the packing station the SKU and order are matched again before branded materials and void fill go in.
  5. Ship. Orders imported by 12 PM PST ship the same day. The system rate-shops across UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL and regional carriers per order. If a package is lost or late, the company says its team escalates with the carrier and keeps you informed.
  6. Returns. Returned items are scanned, inspected for damage, wear and reason, then restocked, donated or discarded by your rules. Refunds can be triggered on receipt or held for inspection. You get monthly summaries by SKU and reason.

Alongside this, your account manager sends weekly reporting on service levels, shipping costs and inventory status.

Which products and industries it handles

The site lists these product categories across its service pages and FAQ:

  • Health and wellness: shelf-stable supplements, vitamins and nutrition packs (capsules, tablets, softgels, powders, gummies, liquid drops, single-serve packets)
  • Apparel and accessories, including streetwear, surf, activewear, swimwear, headwear, footwear and creator merch
  • Cosmetics, skincare and personal care, with lot and expiration tracking
  • Consumer electronics and tech accessories, which it says it packs securely and ESD-safe (protected from static)
  • Home goods and lifestyle products, including fragile or bulky items
  • Consumer packaged goods, shelf-stable food and beverage, and general merchandise for retail
  • Subscription boxes, collector and hobby crates, promo kits and retail-ready displays

The FAQ also describes extras that help with particular products: access-controlled cage storage for very high-value inventory, serial number capture at the pack station, quarantining new inventory for inspection, re-bagging and re-folding garments that arrive badly packed from the factory, and holding heat-sensitive orders over a weekend instead of leaving them in a carrier facility. Ask whether a specific extra applies to your account and how it is billed.

What OC3PL will not accept

The Acceptable Products Policy (last updated 20 January 2021) prohibits products that are illegal or harmful. It names products restricted by law or regulation, malware, child exploitation material, products containing personally identifiable or confidential information without consent, products that infringe trademarks, patents or copyrights, items implying involvement with terrorist organizations, products promoting violence, and products that discriminate against or promote hate toward people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation. OC3PL says its decision on a violation is final and that it may refuse, suspend or end service for noncompliance.

Separately, the supplement page states it does not offer refrigerated or frozen storage. If your product needs cold storage, a stated temperature range, hazardous materials handling or special certification, raise it on the first call; the site does not publish those capabilities.

How much does OC3PL cost?

OC3PL does not publish a rate card. Its pricing page says it builds a custom quote from your SKUs, order volume and workflow, delivered as a line-item breakdown the team walks you through. What it does publish is exactly how the bill is built, so you can check a quote line by line.

Charge categoryHow OC3PL says it works
Activity-based chargesInbound: one fee per unit, case or pallet received, "whichever your delivery qualifies for, never all three." Outbound: one fee per order plus one fee per item shipped.
StorageUsage-based and pro-rated daily. "Inventory in on Tuesday, out on Friday, you pay for three days." No full-month charge, no half-month rules, no prepaying from a first-of-month pallet count.
Tools and integrationsA recurring weekly charge. A single Shopify connection is "a single simple charge"; complex or multichannel integrations cost more. Optional tools are turned on when needed.
Value-added servicesKitting, relabeling, special projects and returns handling. Every rate is on your quote before you sign.
ShippingThe FAQ describes shipping as a pass-through of what the carrier charges, at negotiated volume rates.

Billing cadence. Every invoice is weekly. Storage is quoted as a monthly rate, which the company says is only so you can compare it like for like with other providers, but it is billed on the space you used for the days you used it.

What OC3PL says you won't pay. The pricing and FAQ pages state no order minimums, no monthly floor, no long-term contract, no setup fees, and no separate fee for your dedicated account manager. The startup and apparel pages say returns processing is included in the rate for those clients; for everyone else, ask to see returns as a line item.

What changes your price. The company names the space your inventory occupies, items per order, product size, SKU count, order velocity and which extras (kitting, FBA prep, returns) you use.

How to get a number. Send your order history, SKU count and product dimensions through the contact form or call 949-424-0790. The site also links a free fulfillment cost calculator and guides that explain the arithmetic. Payment methods and payment terms are not published.

Integrations: Shopify, Amazon and the rest

The Technology & Integrations page has a searchable directory grouped into six categories:

  • E-commerce platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Wix, Squarespace, Ecwid, PrestaShop, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Volusion and OpenCart.
  • Order and shipping: tools such as ShipStation, EasyPost, Shippo, ShipperHQ, ChannelAdvisor, Linnworks and Zoho Inventory.
  • Returns: Loop, Happy Returns, AfterShip Returns, Narvar, ReturnGo and ReadyReturns, among others.
  • Marketing and CRM: Klaviyo, Postscript, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Attentive, Zendesk and Gorgias, among others.
  • Accounting and ERP: NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, A2X and Brightpearl.
  • Automation and custom: Zapier, Make, webhooks and a REST API.

Marketplaces with their own pages include Amazon, TikTok Shop, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Etsy and Faire. For subscriptions, the company names Recharge, Bold and Skio. Its stated position on anything missing: "If we don't have it, we'll build it," with custom integrations funded by OC3PL.

Ask exactly what syncs in each direction for your stack (orders, inventory levels, tracking), because that can differ between connectors.

Account management and support

This is the part of the business the company talks about most. Its On-Site Account Management page makes these commitments:

  • On site. Your account manager works at the Anaheim fulfillment center, "the same building where your inventory is stored and your orders are packed," so they can check a pallet on the dock or pull a unit off the shelf.
  • Two-hour acknowledgment. "All client requests are acknowledged within two hours." Prospects who send an inquiry are told they will hear from a strategist "in two hours or less."
  • Not outsourced. "The people who answer you work for OC3PL, not for a contracted call center or an offshore help desk." The company adds: "We create and build American jobs."
  • Direct contact. You call or email your account manager rather than filing a ticket in a shared queue.
  • No extra fee. Every client gets a dedicated account manager without a separate line item.
  • Weekly reporting on service levels, shipping costs and inventory status, plus a client portal showing inventory, inbound shipments and order status.

Note the wording: two hours is an acknowledgment target, not a resolution time. If you need a guaranteed fix time for urgent problems, ask for it in your service agreement.

Onboarding and switching from another 3PL

OC3PL's onboarding page describes a tailored launch plan: timeline planning, integration setup (Shopify, Amazon, Recharge and others), SKU slotting and product mapping, weekly syncs, and a dedicated onboarding manager working alongside the account rep who stays with you. Progress is visible in a shared milestone tracker, and SOPs and process guides are shared in your dashboard.

The site gives several timeframes depending on the page: most clients go live within 5 to 10 business days; standard ecommerce connections in under five business days; retail and wholesale in under seven business days after integration and PO sync. The Why OC3PL page says "most clients go live in under a week."

For brands moving from another provider, the company says it builds a transfer plan to minimize disruption. Its published switching advice includes:

  • Line up the new warehouse, finish integration and testing, and plan the physical move before you give notice to the old one.
  • Read your current contract's termination clause first; the company notes notice periods are commonly 30, 60 or 90 days.
  • Count inventory at the outgoing warehouse rather than trusting its report.
  • Send two to four weeks of top-selling SKUs ahead so bestsellers keep shipping during the move.
  • Consider moving in the first quarter, after the holiday returns rush.

Case studies the company publishes

The results page tells these client stories in OC3PL's own words:

  • Epic Beauty (beauty and wellness) faced a flood of orders after an influencer post. The company says it completed SKU integration and custom packaging setup within one week.
  • Firefly prepared with OC3PL before a Shark Tank appearance by pre-packaging top sellers. The company says Firefly processed 20 times its normal daily volume, with every order shipping the next business day.
  • Ozobot (robotics) had split inventory, kitting and distribution across several providers and consolidated with OC3PL. The page quotes the client: "With OC3PL, we cut costs by 30% and streamlined everything into one system."

These are marketing case studies selected by the company, not independent audits. Results depend on your own catalog, volumes and carriers, so treat them as examples of the kind of work OC3PL takes on and ask for a reference in your category.

How OC3PL compares with other options

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

A good fit if you…

  • Sell DTC on Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop or similar and want same-day shipping on morning orders
  • Import through the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach or sell heavily on the West Coast
  • Run drops, subscription boxes, bundles or kits that need hands-on assembly
  • Have a size-heavy apparel catalog or shelf-stable supplements that need lot tracking
  • Want to visit the warehouse and talk to a person who works in it
  • Are an early-stage brand put off by order minimums or long contracts

Look elsewhere if you…

  • Need refrigerated, frozen or cold-chain storage
  • Need several warehouses across the country from day one
  • Want to compare published rates before talking to anyone
  • Sell products the Acceptable Products Policy prohibits
  • Need heavy freight or industrial warehousing rather than ecommerce fulfillment

Questions to ask before you sign

  1. Can I see a sample weekly invoice, and which line items will apply to my products?
  2. What is my storage rate quoted monthly, and how will the daily pro-ration work for my turnover?
  3. What is in the service agreement: notice period, accuracy and turnaround commitments, and what happens if one is missed?
  4. Is returns processing included in my rate or billed per return?
  5. Who exactly will my account manager be, and how do I reach them outside normal working hours?
  6. Which data syncs in each direction with my platform (orders, inventory, tracking)?
  7. For supplements, cosmetics or food: what documentation can you provide for my retailers or my own compliance file?
  8. Can I speak to a current client with a catalog like mine?

How to get started

  1. Read the pricing structure so you know how the quote will be laid out.
  2. Gather your order history, SKU count, product dimensions and the platforms you sell on.
  3. Fill in the form on the contact page (it asks for products, challenges, monthly order volume and timing), or call 949-424-0790.
  4. Book a warehouse tour at 1150 N Miller St, Anaheim, if you can get there.
  5. Review the line-item quote, then agree an onboarding timeline and your first inbound shipment.
