EKKO (Ekko Solutions): Supplies, Delivery and How Ordering Works

What is EKKO (Ekko Solutions)?

Ekko Solutions is a wholesale supplier for businesses that go through disposables and cleaning products every day. Its About page describes it as "a Los Angeles-based wholesale distributor of food service and janitorial supplies, serving restaurants, hotels, caterers, and commercial businesses throughout Southern California." The site and its emails use the short brand EKKO, and the store lives at shopekko.com.

The company's pitch has three parts, all in its own words: wholesale pricing ("no retail markup, no hidden fees"), fast local delivery on its own trucks, and low minimums. It says its business "was built on a simple idea: food service and facility professionals should have easy access to high-quality supplies at true wholesale prices, delivered on a schedule that works for them."

It is a business-to-business supplier, not a retail store. You cannot see prices or check out without registering an account that asks for a business name, and the Terms say anyone ordering for a business must have authority to bind it. The catalog falls into four main groups:

• Food packaging and disposables: takeout boxes, clamshells, deli and sushi containers, microwavable trays, cups and lids, cutlery, plates and bowls, foil pans, bags, napkins, film wrap, wax sheets and more.
• Eco-friendly products: compostable and biodegradable plates, bowls, cutlery, straws, cups and containers.
• Janitorial and sanitation: can liners, cleaning chemicals, degreasers, mop heads, scrubbers, gloves, protective apparel, toiletries, and towel and tissue.
• Custom branded packaging: printed packaging, cups, bags and napkins with your logo.

Is shopekko.com legit?

People ask this about any wholesale site that hides its prices behind a login. Here is what you can check yourself:

• A street address for its warehouse. The company publishes 2652 E 45th St, Vernon, CA 90058 as the base of its warehouse and operations, on the About page, every policy page and the site footer. Vernon is an industrial city just south of downtown Los Angeles.
• A phone line and two email addresses. (310) 209-8081 appears in the header, footer and policy pages. Sales questions go to sales@shopekko.com and support (deliveries, exchanges, account problems) to support@shopekko.com.
• Published business hours. Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Written policies with dates. Shipping and Delivery, Exchange and Refund, and Terms and Conditions pages are all dated 24 May 2026 and spell out cutoff times, minimums, the 48-hour reporting window and how store credit works.
• Real product listings. Product pages show the case pack and the item SKU, for example "6″ Round Bagasse/Sugarcane Plate Natural," SKU RP06W, 1,000 per case, and a 33-gallon clear can liner, SKU H9150006, 250 per case.

The company does not publish a founding year, an owner's name or customer review figures on the pages we read, so we have not stated any. If those matter to you, ask the sales team for references from a business like yours, and start with a small order.

Who runs EKKO?

The site does not name an owner or a management team. The only person it names is David Saour, listed as a contributor of educational content for the blog. His author note describes EKKO Solutions as "a Vernon-based wholesale distributor serving restaurants, caterers, hotels, schools, food service operators, and commercial facilities throughout Los Angeles and Southern California." Day-to-day questions go to the sales and support team by phone or email.

Where is EKKO, and what areas does it deliver to?

EKKO's warehouse and operations are at 2652 E 45th St, Vernon, CA 90058. The company describes Vernon as "the heart of Los Angeles's distribution corridor" and says it is centrally placed for delivery across the LA metro area.

Its own delivery trucks cover the greater Los Angeles area. Places it names include:

• Downtown LA
• Westwood
• Culver City
• Beverly Hills
• Santa Monica
• The San Gabriel Valley
• The South Bay
• The San Fernando Valley

The list ends with "and beyond," so if your address isn't named, ask. For places outside the local fleet zone, such as San Diego, or for other states, EKKO ships by UPS, FedEx or USPS, or by third-party freight (see Ordering from outside Los Angeles).

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The site does not describe a walk-in counter or will-call pickup at the warehouse, so call before you visit.

What EKKO sells, category by category

When we checked, the shop listed 1,721 products, including 420 in Takeout Boxes & Containers and 165 in Janitorial & Sanitation. Products are sold by the case, and listings show the pack size (for example 100, 200, 250 or 1,000 per case).

A Shop by Business menu groups products by customer type. Counts when we checked: Restaurants 488, Catering 208, Hotels 127, Grocery Stores 93, Bakery 82, Educational Institutions 56 and Healthcare Institutions 33. The home page also has Best Selling Products and Monthly Featured Products rows, and a wishlist you can use to build an order.

Some listings showed "Sold out" when we checked. Stock changes daily, so ask the sales team about availability and substitutes before you rely on a specific item for a menu launch.

Eco-friendly and compostable packaging

EKKO gives eco-friendly products their own menu and describes "a growing line of compostable, biodegradable, and sustainable packaging." The About page lists plates, bowls, cutlery, agave straws and containers "available in both kraft and white." Product names flag some items as PFAS free, such as the bagasse take-out containers and a bagasse 6-compartment tray.

A company blog post from September 2023 says the line uses renewable materials such as cornstarch, sugarcane bagasse and bamboo, also carries disposables made from recycled materials, and that the team will review your operation and suggest sustainable swaps.

Whether a "compostable" item actually gets composted depends on your city's waste collection, and local packaging rules vary. If you need a product to meet a specific city or state rule, ask EKKO for the product's certification or specification sheet before you switch.

Custom branded packaging

EKKO offers custom-printed packaging, cups, bags, napkins "and more" for businesses that want their logo on every piece. There is no published price list for custom work. Instead, the Custom Packaging page has a request form that asks for:

• Full name, company name, email and phone
• A description of what you want
• File uploads (for example your logo or artwork)

The site does not publish minimum runs, lead times or setup fees for printed items. Those are the first things to ask about, since custom orders usually need larger quantities and more time than stock items.

Who EKKO serves

The About page lists these customer types:

• Restaurants, fast casual concepts and quick service operators
• Catering companies and event food service providers
• Hotels, motels and hospitality operations
• Airline catering and airport food service operations
• Schools, universities and institutional food service
• Ghost kitchens and meal prep delivery services
• Office buildings, property managers and commercial facilities
• Grocery stores, delis and food retail operations

The company says it can support an operation "at any scale," from "a single case or a full pallet."

How much does EKKO cost?

EKKO does not publish prices to the public. Every product shows "Login to see prices," and the home page invites business owners to "Sign in to view prices." So the honest answer is: prices are not published; you see them after you register a business account.

What the site does say about cost:

What affects what you pay: the item and pack size, how many cases you order, whether you meet the 10-case free-delivery minimum, whether you are inside the local delivery zone, and whether you are buying custom printed items. To compare, list the 10 to 20 items you reorder most with your current pack sizes and unit counts, then ask EKKO for a quote on the same list.

Paying: the Terms list credit and debit cards, Zelle "and other options available at checkout." The site does not mention net terms or invoicing on credit, so ask if you need them.

Opening an account

The Terms say "To place orders on shopekko.com, you are required to create an account." The registration form on the My Account page asks for:

• Business name
• Contact name
• Phone number
• Username, email address and password

You must be at least 18, and if you are buying for a business you confirm that you can bind it to the Terms. Once registered, the account shows your order status and history. The company says you can also reach the team "through your account on shopekko.com." If you have questions before you register, the About page invites you to call or email about opening an account, products or pricing.

How ordering and delivery work, step by step

1. Register and sign in. Prices appear once you're logged in.
2. Build your order. Browse by category or by business type, or search. Mixed products all count toward the 10-case minimum: "mix and match counts toward the minimum."
3. Request a delivery window (optional). You can ask for a preferred delivery day or time window. EKKO says it will try to meet it but "cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time," because routes depend on traffic, route planning and the day's order volume.
4. Order before 3 PM. Local orders placed before 3:00 PM are scheduled for next-business-day delivery. Orders after the cutoff go out the following business day.
5. Pay. Card, Zelle or another option shown at checkout.
6. Receive it from EKKO's own driver. The company runs its own delivery operation: "no third-party handoffs, no lost packages, and a team that knows your account."
7. Check the delivery the same day. Report anything missing, damaged or wrong within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date.

Is there a minimum order?

For free local delivery, yes: 10 cases combined, across any mix of products. The shipping page says that if your order doesn't reach 10 cases, you should "contact our team to discuss available options before placing your order." The site does not publish a dollar minimum or a delivery fee for smaller orders, so ask.

At the other end, the company says it handles orders up to "a full pallet."

Ordering from outside Los Angeles

Outside the local fleet zone, "including longer-distance locations such as San Diego, or shipments to other states," EKKO uses UPS, FedEx and USPS. The shipping page says this "typically applies to sample orders or select case shipments." The About page adds third-party freight carriers for customers outside the delivery zone, and says smaller sample orders, or a customer wanting to try a product first, can go by UPS, FedEx or USPS.

• Carrier delivery times are the carrier's own estimates, shown at checkout, and are not guaranteed.
• You get tracking once the order is handed to the carrier.
• The same 48-hour window applies for reporting a problem.

In practice, EKKO's model is built around Los Angeles. Businesses far from LA can use it for samples or specific items, but the free next-day delivery applies only inside the local zone.

Returns, exchanges and store credit

EKKO's policy is short and strict: all sales are final. It "does not accept returns or offer cash refunds." What it does offer is an exchange or store credit when something arrives wrong.

Eligible for exchange:

• The item arrived damaged or was defective on delivery
• The item doesn't match what you ordered
• The item has a manufacturer defect that affects its intended use

Not eligible:

• Anything reported after the 48-hour window
• Items that have been used or show wear
• Damage from misuse, improper handling or conditions outside normal use
• Clearance or final-sale items, unless defective
• Items used, altered or missing original packaging "may not qualify"

How to request one:

1. Contact support@shopekko.com or call (310) 209-8081 within 48 hours of receiving the order.
2. Give your order number, a short description and clear photos if the item is damaged.
3. The team reviews and confirms eligibility within 1 to 2 business days.
4. The replacement or store credit is arranged before your next delivery.

You don't ship anything back. EKKO picks up the original item on your next scheduled delivery and drops off the replacement at the same time, at no cost.

Store credit is issued for the full value of the affected item when a direct exchange isn't possible. It does not expire, can be used on any future order on shopekko.com, cannot be redeemed for cash, and stays tied to the original account.

Other terms worth knowing

• Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.
• Pricing errors: EKKO can refuse or cancel an order placed at an incorrect price caused by a typo or system error.
• Order acceptance: all orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and EKKO can refuse orders that look fraudulent or exceed reasonable quantities.
• Liability is capped at the amount you paid for the order in question.
• Disputes: California law applies, with courts in Los Angeles County. The Terms ask you to contact support@shopekko.com first to try to resolve a dispute informally.

Terms you'll see on the site

• Case / "1,000/Case": the unit EKKO sells in. The number is how many pieces are in one case.
• 10/25 (in a can liner name): a pack format, typically 10 rolls of 25 bags, so 250 per case.
• Mic / mil: thickness of a trash bag. Mic is microns (used for clear high-density liners); mil is thousandths of an inch (used for heavier black liners).
• Coreless: trash bags rolled without a cardboard core.
• Bagasse: fiber left over after sugarcane is pressed, molded into plates, bowls and containers.
• PFAS free: made without per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, chemicals sometimes used for grease resistance.
• PET / PP: two common plastics. PET is clear and used for cold cups and many lids; PP (polypropylene) is used for many microwavable containers.
• Steam table pan (full size, half size): standard pan sizes that fit catering warmers and steam tables.
• Store credit: EKKO's form of refund for eligible problems, applied to future orders.
