What Manufact offers for MCP
The mcp-use framework
The mcp-use docs call it "the full-stack MCP framework for TypeScript." It builds MCP servers, MCP Apps with interactive Views in ChatGPT and Claude, MCP clients and tool-calling agents. You start with npx create-mcp-use-app@latest.
The GitHub repository is MIT-licensed. Manufact's about page says mcp-use "grew past 10,000 GitHub stars and millions of downloads before Manufact became the cloud behind it." It adds, "The same team builds both."
Manufact also lists developer tools built on mcp-use. They include a browser Inspector, a client CLI for the terminal and tunneling to expose a local server.
Manufact Cloud
The home page groups the cloud into four jobs:
- Ship. Go from a Git push to a hosted MCP endpoint. Each pull request gets its own preview URL. Manufact says it works "with any MCP framework."
- Publish. Run publishing checks before submitting to ChatGPT and Claude, and generate listing copy and screenshots.
- Understand. See tool-call volume, latency and errors by client and tool, and follow a session from start to finish.
- Test. Run the same task in ChatGPT, Claude and coding agent tools like Claude Code and Codex CLI, then compare behavior.
The home page lists ten target surfaces, including ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini Enterprise, Copilot 365, Codex, Claude Code and Cursor. For what MCP Apps add to a server, see our MCP Apps, Tasks and Skills guide.
Who it's for
Manufact suits teams that sell a product through MCP and want it to behave the same in every client. The cross-client tests and store checks target companies preparing a ChatGPT app or Claude connector listing.
Developers who only need a framework can use mcp-use for free without the cloud.
Pricing
Manufact's pricing page lists four plans as of October 2026:
| Plan | Price | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $5 credits a month, 1 project, 1 team member, 30-day analytics |
| Pay as you go | Usage | $10 credits a month, 10 projects, 10 team members, spending limits |
| Pro | $250/mo + usage ($3,000 billed annually) | $300 credits a month, unlimited projects, 90-day analytics, cold-start prevention, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 |
| Enterprise | Custom | SSO/SAML, self-hosting, RBAC, 365-day analytics, custom SLA |
Usage rates on the same page include $0.10 per 1,000 tool calls (lower at volume), $0.70 per MCP eval run and $0.15 per GB of egress. Credits apply against these charges.
Security and trust
Manufact's Enterprise page mentions "SOC 2 Type II & ISO 27001 compliance" and offers to review those materials during evaluation. The same page asks buyers to "confirm SSO/SAML availability, audit-log coverage, data residency, and current SOC 2 status" with its team. Treat those as items to verify in writing.
For private or dedicated deployments, Manufact says it will "scope a private or dedicated deployment" and confirm feasibility. Our MCP security risks guide lists the controls to ask about.
Alternatives
- Alpic offers hosting, testing and store submission help, plus the Skybridge framework.
- Prefect pairs the FastMCP Python framework with Horizon hosting.
- Blaxel hosts MCP servers on usage-based compute.

Next step
If you are choosing a framework, build one small tool in mcp-use and one in your current SDK. Compare the code before you commit. Our MCP development team can review either approach.
