What Mintive offers for MCP
MCP Gateway
Mintive's homepage describes a single controlled entry point for AI tools. Admins approve which MCP servers teams can use. They then group tools into role-based bundles, which customer quotes on the page call "virtual MCPs." Admins can also disable destructive tools, such as delete actions, before anyone sees them.
The pricing page lists the gateway as "managed MCP server hosting." It also lists custom hosted connectors and "1,000+ pre-built connectors." Mintive's docs say you can "deploy MCP servers that your whole organization can use immediately in ChatGPT, Claude," and that hosted connectors run "with no local installs."
The docs also say "autonomous agents get their own credentials and audit trail instead of borrowing human logins."
Monitoring and guardrails
Agent Monitor traces each call to a person, agent, server and model. Mint Guard screens calls for prompt injection, exposed secrets and personal data. Audit logs can be exported to a SIEM or streamed over OTLP, a standard format for sending telemetry.
LLM proxy
The pricing page also lists an LLM Proxy to "route and monitor LLM traffic," plus user and agent identities. Managed agents are listed as early access on the enterprise tier.
Who it's for
Mintive aims at enterprises and their IT, security and engineering leaders. The homepage names customers including Coursera, Modern Treasury and Stability AI, without a total count. The pricing page sorts teams from 1 to 100 users up to 10,000+ users.
Some vendors already name it as a known gateway. Ramp's MCP docs list MintMCP among third-party gateways that need their redirect URI allowlisted; see our Ramp MCP Server profile.
Pricing
The pricing page says pricing is "Custom pricing based on team size and needs," with per-user licensing and platform fees. No dollar amounts are shown.
Every plan includes the MCP Gateway, LLM Proxy, role-based bundles, identities, connectors, observability, audit logs, and chat and email support. Enterprise options add SAML or OIDC sign-in, SCIM user sync, OpenTelemetry export, a customer success manager and SLAs. To get a quote, book a consultation or email the sales address on the page.
Security and trust
Mintive says it is "SOC 2 Type II audited," HIPAA-aligned with a BAA available, and penetration tested. It says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with EU and US data residency. Its Trust Center link still uses the mintmcp.com domain. The pricing page lists cloud hosting managed by Mint as the only deployment option, so there is no self-hosted version.
A managed gateway holds credentials for many systems. Before you sign, check the points in our MCP security risks guide.
Alternatives
- Runlayer is another managed enterprise MCP gateway, with runtime scanning and shadow AI detection.
- TrueFoundry publishes per-user prices and offers VPC and on-prem deployment.
- Obot is an MIT-licensed platform you can self-host.
