What StackOne offers for MCP
Connectors as MCP servers
StackOne's homepage says any MCP-compatible agent can reach its full catalog, and you can add remote MCP servers as connectors too. Besides MCP, it offers A2A, a REST API and SDKs. The Node SDK repository is Apache 2.0 licensed.
Auth and permissions
StackOne handles OAuth, SAML, API keys and scopes for each connected app. You can set permissions "per action, field, and user." Field-level rules mean you could, for example, let an agent read some fields in a record but not others.
Prompt injection defense
StackOne lists a Prompt Injection Guard and says it "catches 89% of malicious tool responses." That is the company's own figure. The pricing page also lists a security layer called Defender, with Defender Core on Starter and Defender Premium on Team and above. PII redaction is also listed.
Two ways to buy
Gateway plans are for your own teams and agents. OEM plans let software companies embed StackOne in their own product, with white-labeled connectors and sign-in screens.
Who it's for
StackOne says it serves "developers building AI agents that need to take action across enterprise SaaS," naming HR, recruiting, CRMs, document stores and identity providers. It suits HR tech and B2B software companies that need many similar integrations. Customer logos on the site include Drata and Synthesia. If you need just one or two apps, compare our guide on how to choose MCP servers.
Pricing
StackOne's pricing page listed these gateway plans on 28 October 2026:
| Plan | Price | Credits | Extra credits | Log retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | 1,000 per seat a month | $60 per 20,000 | 1 day |
| Team | $600/month | 5,000 per seat a month | $20 per 20,000 | 7 days |
| Enterprise | Contact us | Custom | Custom | 30 days |
All gateway plans include MCP. Team adds an AI connector builder, tool policies, SAML SSO and project-level RBAC. Enterprise adds audit logs with SIEM export, BYOK encryption, a SOC 2 report and BAA, and an uptime SLA. On-premise or VPC deployment is an Enterprise add-on.
OEM Core is free with 7-day logs, and OEM Enterprise is by quote. The page says background and failed calls aren't billed.
Security and trust
StackOne says "StackOne is SOC 2 Type II certified" and lists GDPR, HIPAA and CCPA. The SOC 2 report and BAA are tied to Enterprise plans on the pricing page. Per-action permissions, audit logs and PII redaction are the main controls. The Starter plan keeps logs for 1 day, which is too short for most audits. Our MCP security risks guide covers prompt injection and other threats in plain English.
