Therapy Practice Websites We Work On: 12 eSEOspace Client Practices

This article is part of our Therapy Practice Marketing Guide: how clients find a therapist, how to market ethically and privately, and how to choose the right help. Want to know where your practice's site stands? Get a free 20–30 page website audit within 24 hours.

eSEOspace works on the websites and search marketing of the 12 therapy and mental health practices below. They range from solo counselors to an all-virtual group practice, a speech clinic and two practices led by psychiatric nurse practitioners. Each description comes only from that practice's client spotlight page on our site.

We don't rate or rank our clients, and we haven't listed outcomes. Each spotlight page states the same thing. What you'll see here is what each practice offers, how its site explains it, and the patterns that show up across all of them.

If you're comparing agencies, this page shows the kinds of practices we know. For the full picture of therapy practice marketing, see our Therapy Practice Marketing Guide.

Key Takeaways

  • Every practice below is an eSEOspace client; we work on its website and search marketing.
  • Credentials are listed exactly as each spotlight page gives them, including two practices led by psychiatric nurse practitioners, not psychiatrists.
  • Most of these sites say clearly which states they can see clients in by telehealth.
  • Several sites explain what the practice does not offer, such as crisis care or prescribing, so visitors can self-select.
  • Fees, insurance and first steps are spelled out on most spotlight pages, which helps visitors decide before they call.

Solo therapy and psychology practices

Dr. Laura Lehmann (Franklin, Michigan)

Dr. Laura Lehmann runs a private practice in Oakland County. The spotlight lists her as Laura L. Lehmann, PsyD, LP, a fully licensed clinical psychologist in Michigan. She sees adults and couples, in person or by secure video for clients physically in Michigan. Focus areas include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma recovery, relationships and cancer-related emotional support. The page also states what the practice doesn't do, such as emergency care or prescribing.

The Denning Center (San Antonio, Texas)

The Denning Center is the solo counseling practice of Jim Denning, MA, LPC. It serves adults 18 and over. Specialties include trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, PTSD, anxiety and depression. Methods listed include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and EMDR. Telehealth is for clients physically in Texas, and the page notes he doesn't prescribe and refers to a psychiatric nurse practitioner at a separate practice when appropriate.

Laura Bass Counseling (Charlotte, North Carolina)

Laura Bass Counseling is a one-clinician psychotherapy practice. The spotlight lists Laura Bass's credentials as a BA in Psychology (UNC Chapel Hill) and an MSW (University of South Carolina, 1985). The practice says she is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. She offers individual, couples and infidelity counseling for adults, with optional complementary sessions that the practice says are not psychotherapy and not covered by insurance.

spiral2grow (New York, New York)

spiral2grow is the Midtown Manhattan practice of Moshe Ratson, MBA, MS MFT, LMFT. Its focus is couples counseling, marriage therapy and infidelity counseling, plus anger management and coaching. Approaches named include Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems and the Gottman Method. Sessions are in person or by Zoom, in English or Hebrew. The page says the practice isn't an emergency service and points people in crisis to 988 or 911.

Yosi Amram, Ph.D. (Palo Alto and Oakland, California)

Yosi Amram, Ph.D. has a solo practice with offices in Palo Alto and Oakland's Rockridge area. His About page lists him as Licensed Psychologist PSY #24924. He offers integrative psychotherapy for couples and individual adults, and the page calls couples work "a major interest area and focus" of his. Methods include EFT and PACT for couples, plus ACT, IFS and somatic approaches.

Brain Smart Therapy and Play (Federal Way, Washington)

Brain Smart Therapy and Play is the practice of Dr. Esther Chon, PhD, a licensed psychologist in Washington and California. She works with adults, with parents and children from birth to age 8, and with perinatal clients. Methods named include EMDR, Child-Parent Psychotherapy and play therapy. Sessions are in person in Federal Way, or by video for people in Washington or California.

Group practices

Innovative Counseling (Miami, Florida)

Innovative Counseling has one office in Kendall and offers video sessions anywhere in Florida. Its founder is Muriell Carlisle, LPC (Oregon), LMHC (Florida), C.H.T., and the team includes licensed counselors, a clinical social worker and a marriage and family therapist. Services include individual, couples, family and teen counseling, EMDR, DBT and Spanish-language therapy. The spotlight notes that none of the clinicians is a psychiatrist or prescriber.

Locascio Wellness (Pennsylvania, all-virtual)

Locascio Wellness is an all-virtual group therapy practice with an administrative office in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Clients must be physically in Pennsylvania, West Virginia or Arizona during each session. The founder is Anthony Locascio, PsyD, MSCP, LPC, CAADC, who the page says is completing licensure as a psychologist. The practice offers therapy and private-pay psychological evaluations, which the page says are supervised and co-signed by a licensed psychologist.

Mountainside Behavioral Health (Greenwood Village, Colorado)

Mountainside Behavioral Health is a female-owned outpatient practice near Denver. Its co-owners are Emily Biggs-Heisler, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist and Clinical Director, and Anabelle Brecker, LCSW. DBT and CBT are the core, with adult and teen DBT skills groups, ERP for OCD and school refusal support. The page labels its two trainees as trainees and offers telehealth for clients in Colorado.

Psychiatric nurse practitioner practices

Danshalom Behavioral Clinic (Sugar Land, Texas)

Danshalom Behavioral Clinic is an outpatient psychiatric practice. Its clinician is Victor Onodjacha, described on the page as a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, brief psychotherapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, for ages 10 to 65. Visits are in person or by video in Texas, and video only in Idaho. The page says the clinic is not a crisis center and points to 911, the nearest emergency room or 988.

Willow & Stone Integrative Mental Health (Arlington, Texas)

Willow & Stone is a small outpatient psychiatric practice. Its founder and only prescribing clinician is Dr. Stacey Forbes, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC. The spotlight is clear that she is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, not an MD or psychiatrist, and that "Dr." refers to her Doctor of Nursing Practice. Services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management and trauma intensives, with telehealth for patients in seven listed states.

Specialty clinic

Lynne Alba Speech Therapy Solutions (Torrance, California)

Lynne Alba Speech Therapy Solutions, also called Children's Speech Care Center, is a private speech and language clinic serving the South Bay of Los Angeles County. Its founder is Dr. Lynne Alba, Psy.D., M.A., CCC-SLP, a licensed speech-language pathologist. The clinic offers evaluations, one-to-one therapy, a parent-and-toddler group and a social communication group. The page names autism as one of its major areas of specialty.

What these sites have in common

Reading the 12 spotlights side by side, a few habits repeat. They're worth copying on any therapy site.

Credentials stated exactly

Each page uses the clinician's actual license and degree. Two practices are led by psychiatric nurse practitioners, and their pages say so plainly. For psychologists, the APA Ethics Code Standard 5.01 bars false or deceptive statements about degrees and credentials. Other license types have similar rules in their own codes.

Telehealth limits by state

Most of these sites say where clients must be located during a session. That's clearer for visitors than "telehealth available." Our guide to telehealth websites and multistate practice explains how to word it.

What the practice does not offer

Several pages list exclusions: no crisis care, no prescribing, no care for minors, or no in-person sessions. This helps the wrong-fit visitor move on quickly.

Crisis information

Several spotlights point people in crisis to 988, 911 or an emergency room. The 988 Lifeline says it is available 24/7/365 by call, text or chat. See our guide to crisis resources on therapy websites.

Fees and first steps

Most pages explain fees or how fees are shared, insurance status, and the first steps after contact. For self-pay clients, CMS's Good Faith Estimate guide explains when an estimate of expected charges is due.

Practitioner listings

Group practices often need both a location profile and individual practitioner profiles on Google. Google's Business Profile guidelines say each practitioner's profile "should include only the name of the practitioner."

Next step

If one of these practices looks like yours, read its spotlight, then tell us about your own practice. See eSEOspace's website and marketing services for therapy practices, or the mental health practice and psychiatry website pages. When you're ready, book a discovery call.

Frequently asked questions

Are these the only therapy practices eSEOspace works with?

No. These are the therapy and mental health practices that have a client spotlight page on our site. We describe each one only from what that page says.

Why don't you list results for each practice?

Each spotlight page states that eSEOspace doesn't rate or score its clients, and none of them reports outcomes. Search results depend on many things outside a website, so we don't present numbers we can't stand behind.

Do you work with psychiatric nurse practitioner practices?

Yes. Two of the practices above are led by board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners. Their sites describe them accurately, not as psychiatrists. Our psychiatry website design and SEO page has more.

Do you work with speech, occupational or physical therapy clinics?

Yes. Lynne Alba Speech Therapy Solutions is one example. We also have service pages for speech, occupational and physical therapy practices.

Can I contact these practices about working with eSEOspace?

Please don't contact them for that purpose. They're busy treating clients. If you'd like to talk about references, raise it on a discovery call.
