Selling on Google, Meta, Amazon and eBay from Wix
Selling on Google, Meta, Amazon and eBay from Wix

You can sell Wix Stores products on Google Shopping and YouTube, Amazon, eBay and TikTok from the Wix dashboard, and on Facebook and Instagram through a product catalog feed or a third-party app. You need a Core, Business or Business Elite plan; the Light plan doesn't include selling on marketplaces or social channels.
The channels don't all work the same way. On Google, Meta and TikTok, your products appear on the channel and the shopper clicks through to your Wix store to buy. On Amazon and eBay, the listing and the sale happen on the marketplace under its rules and fees. Knowing which is which tells you where the order shows up, who takes the payment and which policies apply.
Key Takeaways
- As of October 2026, "Sell on marketplaces" and "Sell on social channels" are included in Core, Business and Business Elite, and not in Light.
- Wix's help center lists these channels: eBay, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, TikTok, Google Shopping and YouTube.
- Facebook and Instagram shops created in the Wix dashboard stopped being supported by Meta from April 2024. The current routes are a Meta catalog feed or the Facebook Shops by GoDataFeed app.
- Digital products and product subscriptions can't be listed on Google Shopping, TikTok or eBay.
- eBay won't list a Wix product with more than 250 variants.
- Etsy is not supported natively; Wix points to a third-party integration app.
What a sales channel is, and the two types
A sales channel is any place outside your website where your products are shown to shoppers. Wix connects to them by sharing your product data: titles, descriptions, prices, images and stock. That shared data is called a product feed or catalog.
| Channel | How it connects | Where the customer pays | Can't be listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Shopping and YouTube | Google & YouTube in the dashboard, through Google Merchant Center | Your Wix store | Digital and subscription products |
| Facebook and Instagram | Meta Catalog in the dashboard, or the GoDataFeed app | Your Wix store (catalog route) | Check Meta's commerce policies |
| TikTok | TikTok Ads app and TikTok Catalog | Your Wix store | Digital and subscription products |
| Amazon | Amazon shop connection in the dashboard | Amazon | Digital and hidden products |
| eBay | eBay tab in the dashboard | eBay managed payments | Digital, subscription and hidden products; more than 250 variants |
| Etsy | Third-party app only | Etsy | Set by the app and Etsy |
Plan requirements
The Wix plans page marks both "Sell on marketplaces" and "Sell on social channels" as included in Core, Business and Business Elite. As of October 2026 those plans are $29, $39 and $159 per month for US buyers, billed yearly and paid up front. Light, at $17, can't accept payments at all.
You can sometimes start setup before upgrading. Wix says you can set up eBay without upgrading, but listing products needs a plan that accepts payments. We didn't find any Wix page stating a separate fee or plan tier for the native Amazon and eBay connections beyond that, so check the upgrade screen in your own dashboard. The marketplaces charge their own selling fees, which Wix doesn't control. If you're still choosing a tier, see our Wix plans comparison.
Google Shopping and YouTube
Google Merchant Center is the Google account that holds your product data and decides whether each product is approved to appear in Google's shopping results. Wix creates or connects that account for you and sends your catalog to it.
Before you connect
Wix lists these requirements for the store:
- A card payment option at checkout.
- No password on the Product Page.
- At least 2 of these shown on the site: phone number, email address, physical address.
- Terms of Service that include a refund policy.
For products, Wix lists an image of at least 100 x 100 pixels (250 x 250 for apparel) and a description of at least 500 characters. That description length catches many stores, so check your shortest product pages first.
Setup steps
- Go to Google & YouTube in your site's dashboard.
- Click Get Started.
- Click Sign Up With Wix. If you already have a Google Merchant Center account, you can connect it instead, after removing its old data feeds.
- Choose which products to list. You can list in batches, with the first batch up to 100 products, or all at once.
- Wait for Google's review, which Wix says can take up to 3 days.
Shoppers who click a listing land on your Wix store and check out there, so your normal shipping rules, tax settings and payment fees apply. Digital products and subscription products can't be sold through Google Shopping. Eligible YouTube creators can also connect the store to a channel and tag products in videos. The full requirements are in Wix's Google Merchant Solutions guide.
Product listings in Google only tell you something if you can see what they produce. Before you spend on Shopping ads, set up Google Ads conversion tracking on Wix so purchases are attributed correctly.
Facebook and Instagram
This is the channel where older tutorials are most often wrong. Wix's help center states that, starting April 2024, Meta stopped supporting Facebook and Instagram shops created through the Wix dashboard. Some Wix marketing pages still describe selling on Facebook and Instagram as dashboard channels; follow the help center.
There are two current routes, both described in Wix's notice about Facebook shops:
- A Meta catalog feed. Go to Meta Catalog in your site's dashboard and connect your products to a Meta catalog. Shoppers who click a product on Facebook or Instagram go to your site's checkout with the product already selected. After the feed is set up, product changes update automatically.
- The Facebook Shops by GoDataFeed app. This is a third-party app with a 14-day trial. Orders are managed in the GoDataFeed dashboard, not in Wix.
For most small stores the catalog feed is the simpler choice, because orders, payment and customer records stay in Wix. A catalog is also what powers catalog-based ads. To measure those, connect the pixel as described in Meta Pixel and Conversions API on Wix.
TikTok
TikTok is added using the TikTok Ads app. Your products sync to a TikTok for Business catalog from TikTok Catalog in the dashboard, where you get a catalog link to give TikTok. Updates aren't instant; Wix suggests scheduling a daily sync at midnight. Digital and subscription products can't be sold on TikTok.
Amazon
Connecting an Amazon shop is available to merchants in all locations if the site language is English, French, German, Spanish or Japanese. Supported Amazon marketplaces include the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom, among others.
What to know before you start:
- You need an Amazon seller account, and each Amazon account connects to one Wix site.
- Products are matched to items that already exist in Amazon's catalog. Wix warns that many brand-name products do not appear in that catalog, so matching can fail for them.
- Digital products and hidden products can't be listed.
- Wix markets real-time inventory sync and the use of Fulfillment by Amazon. Test both with a small batch before you rely on them.
The sale happens on Amazon, so Amazon's fees, policies and customer service rules apply. Price your Amazon listings with those fees in mind; they are separate from the payment fees on your own site.
eBay
- Go to the eBay tab in your site's dashboard and click Start Now.
- Choose an eBay market.
- Sign in to, or create, an eBay business account.
- Set your location, shipping, returns and tax settings for eBay.
- Choose products and publish them. Publishing needs an eBay seller account.
Payment runs through eBay managed payments. These can't be listed: digital products, product subscriptions, hidden products and any product with more than 250 variants. One warning from Wix's eBay setup guide: don't disconnect and reconnect eBay to fix a problem, because doing so unlinks and unpublishes all your products.
Etsy and other channels
Selling Wix Stores products through Etsy is not supported natively. Wix's recommended apps list includes a third-party Etsy integration that syncs Wix inventory when an Etsy sale is made; it has its own pricing and support.
You may also see Wish mentioned on a Wix marketing page. It isn't on the help center's channel list, so don't plan around it without confirming in your own dashboard.
Get your product data ready first
Every channel reads the same product record, so weak data gets rejected or ignored everywhere at once. Before you connect anything:
- Write full descriptions. Google listings through Wix need at least 500 characters. Describe the product in your own words: material, size, use and what's in the box.
- Use clear, specific titles. Wix product names have an 80-character maximum. Put the product type and key attribute first.
- Upload sharp images. Wix recommends a minimum product image resolution of 3000 x 3000 pixels.
- Track inventory by quantity. A real stock number is more useful to a marketplace than a plain "In Stock" flag.
- Publish your policies. A refund policy and visible contact details are requirements for Google and good practice everywhere.
- Keep variants within channel limits. A product with several hundred variants may list on your site and fail on eBay.
Good product data also helps your own pages rank. Our Wix ecommerce SEO guide covers product titles, descriptions and structured data in more depth.
Which channels to start with
Each channel adds listings to maintain, policies to follow and messages to answer. Start with one, get it clean, then add the next.
- Google Shopping suits almost any store with physical products, because shoppers are already searching for the item and the sale stays on your site.
- A Meta catalog suits visual products and stores that already advertise on Facebook or Instagram.
- Amazon and eBay suit products people search for by name or part number, and sellers who can absorb marketplace fees and meet marketplace shipping expectations.
- TikTok suits products that demonstrate well on short video.
Subscription and digital sellers have fewer options, since most of these channels exclude those product types.
Conclusion
Wix connects a store to Google, TikTok, Amazon and eBay from the dashboard, and to Facebook and Instagram through a catalog feed or a third-party app. The work that decides whether it pays off is unglamorous: complete product data, published policies, accurate stock and tracking that shows which channel produced each sale. Frequently asked questions
Which Wix plan do I need to sell on Google, Amazon or eBay?
Core, Business or Business Elite. As of October 2026 the plans page lists selling on marketplaces and social channels as included in those three plans and not in Light.
Can I still create a Facebook or Instagram shop from the Wix dashboard?
Not the old way. Wix states that Meta stopped supporting shops created through the Wix dashboard from April 2024. You now connect products through a Meta catalog feed or use the third-party Facebook Shops by GoDataFeed app.
Why were my products not approved in Google Shopping?
Common causes from Wix's requirements are a description under 500 characters, an image that is too small, a missing refund policy, fewer than two contact details on the site, or no card payment option. Google's review can take up to 3 days.
Can I sell digital products or subscriptions on these channels?
Mostly no. Digital and subscription products can't be listed on Google Shopping, TikTok or eBay, and digital products can't be listed on Amazon.
Does Wix sell on Etsy?
Not natively. Wix says selling Wix Stores products through Etsy isn't currently supported, and points to a third-party integration app for syncing inventory.
Where do orders from each channel appear?
For Google, the Meta catalog route and TikTok, shoppers buy on your Wix site, so orders are normal Wix orders. Amazon and eBay sales happen on the marketplace. With the GoDataFeed app, orders are managed in GoDataFeed's dashboard.
