Best Wix SEO Experts in 2026-2027
Best Wix SEO Experts in 2026-2027

Disclosure: eSEOspace publishes this blog and ranks itself first. Every other entry was researched independently and links to its own site.
Wix has spent the last few years fixing its SEO reputation, and it mostly succeeded. Server-side rendering, editable robots.txt, structured data markup, canonical control, a proper redirect manager and Wix Studio's cleaner markup mean the platform is no longer the handicap it was in 2016.
That change moved the problem. The bottleneck is no longer "can Wix rank." It is "does the person you hired know where Wix hides the controls." Wix keeps SEO settings scattered across the SEO Settings panel, per-page overrides, the Wix SEO Setup Checklist, the separate mobile view, Wix Blog's own URL rules and the Business Info block that feeds local markup. A capable generalist who works in WordPress all week will spend your first two retainer months finding those screens.
So this list is not "SEO agencies that will accept a Wix client." It is eight providers that actually name Wix in their service pages, plus one entry (ours, at number one) that treats Wix as one platform inside a wider technical and commercial practice.
Read the worst-fit note on each entry. It will disqualify most of this list for you inside five minutes, which is the point.
Key Takeaways
- Wix SEO is a platform-literacy problem more than a strategy problem. The differentiator is knowing the platform's constraints and where its controls live, not owning a better keyword tool.
- Wix-only boutiques are excellent at platform quirks and weak at everything adjacent. Broader agencies are the reverse. Pick based on whether your problem stops at the Wix dashboard.
- Wix's partner program tiers ("Legend" being the top one) signal build volume and platform relationship. They are not an SEO ranking guarantee, and some agencies display a Legend badge on their own site without a matching tier label appearing on their public Wix partner profile.
- Two providers on this list publish fixed monthly rates, one in US dollars and one in pounds. The rest quote custom. If budget certainty matters more than customisation, that narrows your shortlist immediately.
- Almost every impressive number in this category (project counts, retention rates, review totals) is self-reported marketing. We have named the source beside each figure instead of repeating it as fact.
- Wix's separate mobile content handling and its blog URL structure are the two areas where inexperienced SEOs most often break things. Ask any candidate about both.
- Decide first whether you are buying an audit, a retainer, a rebuild or a white-label partner. Those are four different purchases and most confusion in this market comes from conflating them.
How we evaluated these Wix SEO experts
We read what each provider publishes about itself, checked it against Wix's own partner directory where a Wix claim was involved, then weighted five things.
Demonstrated Wix depth. Does the provider have a real Wix SEO service page with specifics on it, or does Wix appear once in a list of twelve platforms? We favoured teams with dedicated Wix pages, live Wix partner profiles, or published Wix-specific technical material.
Service model clarity. Fixed-price tiers, retainers, project work, white label. A clearly described deliverable is a good sign. "Contact us for a custom strategy" with no described scope is not.
Scope beyond rankings. Rankings rarely move revenue on their own. We gave credit for the ability to also handle local SEO, ecommerce, conversion work, analytics and content, because that is usually where the money actually shows up.
Verifiability. We state founding years, locations and client names only where the provider or a corroborating source publishes them. Where a detail is not published, we say so rather than guessing. Where a figure comes from the provider's own marketing, we say whose figure it is.
Fit honesty. Every entry gets a worst-fit note. A list where all eight options suit everyone has stopped being a list and become an advert.
We did not rank on price, because only two providers publish comparable rates and they price in different currencies for different markets. We did not rank on review scores, because the review footprints across this group are not comparable.

1. eSEOspace
Founded: 2019 Best for: Businesses whose Wix SEO problem connects to something bigger, whether that is ecommerce, analytics, a custom backend or a redesign.
We rank ourselves first, and we have told you why in the disclosure line above. Here is the honest case.
Most providers on this list are Wix specialists first and SEO practitioners second. We are the other way around. Wix is one of several platforms we work in, and our organic SEO practice is built around the parts of the problem that persist regardless of platform: search intent, information architecture, internal linking, technical crawl health, and content that answers the question someone actually typed.
That matters on Wix specifically because Wix problems often are not Wix problems. A Wix site that will not rank frequently has a thin content library, no local signal, no measurement layer and a checkout that leaks. Fixing the SEO Settings panel does nothing about any of that.
Where we differ from the Wix-only shops is scope. Alongside search we run local SEO for multi-location and service-area businesses, ecommerce SEO for catalogue sites, conversion rate optimisation so the traffic converts once it lands, and insights and analytics so you can see whether any of it worked. We also build. If the honest answer to your brief is that Wix is now the constraint rather than the platform, we can say so and handle the migration and the rebuild rather than pretending the ceiling is not there.
We have also been increasingly asked about visibility inside AI answers, which is a different discipline from classic ranking work. That sits in our AI SEO practice and is treated as an additional layer on top of solid technical and content foundations, not a replacement for them.
We are not going to quote you a headline statistic here, because the point of this article is that unaudited numbers are worth nothing. Ask us for the specific accounts and the specific reporting instead.
Worst fit: If you want a Wix-only boutique whose entire identity is the platform, someone whose team has never opened another CMS, we are not that. Several providers below are, and for a straightforward Wix design-plus-SEO engagement they are a reasonable choice. We are also not the cheapest option on this page. If your budget is a few hundred dollars a month and your ambition stops at a handful of local keywords, start with entry five or six.
Book a call if your Wix problem has more than one moving part.
2. Zoek
Founded: 2012, per the company's own about page and FAQ. Location: Fully remote with no physical office, headquartered in Orange County, California. Their site states they serve the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Best for: Established brands already on Wix that want SEO bundled with design, paid ads and social under one retained subscription.
Zoek is a Wix-centric web design and digital marketing agency that sells SEO as a fully managed, subscription-based service. Their Wix SEO page describes technical and on-page work, off-page directory distribution, content management and ongoing analytics layered on top of Wix Studio and Wix Classic builds. The framing throughout is hands-off for the client: you buy an outcome and a dashboard, not a set of hours.
Their credibility here is stronger than most because Wix itself profiled the agency on the Wix Studio blog, describing it as a web design and brand optimisation agency, and they hold a live partner profile in the Wix Marketplace. It was Wix, not Zoek, that named Papa John's, Sylvan Learning and Century 21 in connection with the agency in that article, and Wix that cited a 94 per cent client retention rate. Those are Wix's words about a partner rather than an audited disclosure, but a platform vouching for an agency by name is meaningfully better evidence than the agency vouching for itself.
They are best understood as a marketing department substitute rather than an SEO vendor. If you want organic, paid, social and design coming from one retained relationship, that consolidation is the product.
Worst fit: If you want a one-off technical audit, a fixed-scope project or a specialist you brief and release, a managed subscription is the wrong shape. Note also which numbers come from where. The frequently repeated claim that 91 per cent of clients reach Google's top ten within six months appears on Zoek's own site with no methodology attached, as does the assertion that they are the number one Wix partner agency. Their co-founder's bio describes a team of more than 120 people, which is again a first-party statement. They publish no rate card, so budget certainty is not on offer here.
3. Media Components
Founded: 2003 Location: Founded in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, with a Boca Raton, Florida office opened in 2022. Both figures are stated on their about page. Best for: Businesses that want top-tier Wix credentials attached to a larger, older agency with a broad in-house bench.
Media Components is the oldest agency on this list by some margin, and it published an announcement on 9 December 2025 stating that it had reached Legend-level partnership in the Wix Partners Program, described there as the highest tier available in the Wix agency ecosystem.
The distinction from the Wix-only boutiques is depth of practice. Wix is one platform inside a real SEO department: the site breaks search work into SEO consulting, local SEO, AI SEO, technical SEO, SEO audits and ecommerce SEO as separate offerings, alongside paid search, video production, reputation management and branding. If your Wix site is one channel in a mix that also includes paid search and video, that breadth is the reason to call them.
Two decades of operating history also means process. You are unlikely to be anyone's first ecommerce client or first local multi-location rollout.
Worst fit: If you want a small team where the person doing the work is the person you briefed, a larger agency structure will frustrate you. Their about page names no clients and states no headcount, so you cannot pre-qualify them on portfolio fit before the sales call. On the Legend claim, the picture is mixed rather than damning: they do have a live Wix partner profile with a visible portfolio, but that public profile does not display a tier label, so the Legend designation currently rests on their own announcement. Ask them to walk you through what the tier gave them in practice.
4. CIS Agency (Corporate Imager Services LLC)
Founded: Not published Location: Headquarters at 6501 Balsam Drive, Hudsonville, Michigan, with a second office in Austin, Texas. Best for: Wix owners who need SEO plus genuine custom development in the same shop, and agencies looking for a white-label Wix SEO partner.
CIS Agency positions itself around "All Things Wix" and it is the only entry here with real development substance attached. There are dedicated pages for Wix SEO, Wix Velo, Wix white label, Wix Bookings, Wix Support and Wix templates. Their about page states they are an official Wix Partner certified in design, development and advanced Velo solutions, and their Wix pages display Wix Legend Partner, Wix Velo Partner and Wix Studio certified badges.
Velo is the differentiator. If your SEO problem requires custom logic, dynamic pages driven by a dataset, or programmatic page generation across a large inventory, most Wix boutiques will tell you it cannot be done. This is the shop that can build it.
They also publish full case study pages with named clients, including Michigan FQHR, Unique Body Shop, Kroll Furnace, LawExchange International, VanderLaan Home Improvement, Gutter Pro Inc., Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy and Healthy Eating on The Go. That is more portfolio transparency than most of this list offers, and it is the single easiest way to sanity-check an agency before you talk to them.
Worst fit: If you want pure SEO strategy with no build component, you will be paying for a development capability you never use. Their about page narrates a founding story without giving a year, and their headline figures (an A+ BBB rating, more than 5,000 delivered projects, more than 2,000 websites and over 500 client meetings a year) are asserted on their own site rather than independently confirmed. Treat them as claims. They also publish no rate card.
5. The Wix Guys
Founded: Not published Location: United Kingdom. Head office at 59 High Street, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1SR, plus a northern office at The Guild, 5 Abbey Street, Carlisle CA3 8TX. Best for: UK small businesses and growing brands that want Wix design and Wix SEO from the same Wix-only team, with the option of meeting face to face.
The Wix Guys are deliberately small and work on nothing but Wix. Their about page is refreshingly direct about it: they are not a faceless web agency or a bunch of buzzwords in hoodies, they are Wix Legends officially recognised by Wix, and they live and breathe the platform every single day.
The relevant philosophical point for SEO buyers is that they describe SEO as baked in from day one rather than sold as an add-on. That is the correct order of operations. Retrofitting information architecture and URL structure onto a finished Wix build is expensive and usually partial.
They are also the only UK entry here that publishes rates. Their Wix SEO page lists three monthly tiers: Essentials at £299 plus VAT, Growth at £499 plus VAT and Pro at £749 plus VAT, each itemising audit, on-page work, content, Google Business Profile optimisation and Search Console and Analytics setup, with no long-term contract stated. That makes them directly comparable against an internal hire in a way most of this market avoids.
Their services span Wix Editor design, Wix Studio design, Wix SEO and a "Wix Fix" remediation service for sites that need rescuing rather than rebuilding. They hold a live Wix partner profile, their site footer lists a Semrush agency partnership, and their portfolio names Elect AI, Aroi Dee Thai, We Waste and AC Escapes, with London City Lionesses among the logos in their homepage client wall.
Worst fit: If you are outside the UK and want same-timezone contact, or if you need SEO decoupled from a design engagement, look elsewhere. Their site states no founding year, publishes no review score and lists a team of eight on the about page, so this is a small-shop engagement with the capacity constraints that implies. Their results section says outcomes were verified in Semrush, which is a reasonable tool to cite but is not the same as an independently audited case study.
6. SEO Smooth
Founded: Not published Location: South Florida headquarters at 2500 Quantum Lakes Dr Ste 203-16, Boynton Beach, FL 33426, with further offices listed for Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Port St. Lucie and St. Louis. Best for: Wix site owners who want transparent, published pricing and a defined monthly deliverable list instead of a custom quote.
SEO Smooth does the thing most of this category avoids: it publishes prices in dollars. Three fixed monthly Wix SEO tiers, Starter at $849, Premium at $1,299 and Professional at $1,999, each spelling out keyword counts, technical SEO, manual sitemap submission, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster setup, directory listings, conversion work and blog content, all specified for Wix.com sites. The page states a three-month minimum term followed by month-to-month, with 30 days' cancellation notice.
That transparency is worth more than it sounds. It lets you compare against an internal hire, budget twelve months ahead, and see exactly what you stop receiving if you downgrade. It also forces a conversation about scope before you sign rather than in month four.
They also publish a named team page listing nine people with roles, which is more accountability than a generic "our experts" block, and a large library of case studies organised by vertical.
Worst fit: Productised pricing means productised scope. If your situation is unusual, a migration, a large catalogue, a multi-location rollout, a packaged tier will either underserve you or need so many exceptions that the pricing advantage evaporates. Two things to weigh before you buy. Their claim to be the first ever SEO company recommended by Wix rests on a Wix blog post they link via an archive copy, and we could not confirm it independently. And unlike several agencies here, we found no live Wix partner directory profile for them, so their Wix credibility is a citation rather than a platform listing. Their testimonials are labelled as Google reviews but are shown with first name plus last initial, and no founding year appears anywhere on the site.
7. Sixth City Marketing
Founded: 2010. The agency's own copyright line runs from 2010, and LinkedIn, Inc.com and National Marketing Awards all record 2010 as the founding year. Location: Headquarters at 837 Crocker Rd, Westlake, OH 44145, with further offices listed in Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Chicago and Nashville. Best for: Wix site owners who want a larger, long-running agency with a formal reporting cadence and deep industry verticals rather than a Wix-only boutique.
Sixth City Marketing is an established multi-office US SEO and PPC agency with a dedicated Wix SEO service line. What earns them a place here is that the Wix page sets out an actual method rather than adjectives: tracked keyword lists, unique per-page metadata, Google Business Profile claiming and optimisation, backlink work, and site restructuring to clear broken URLs, 404s, header issues and slow pages. They report on conversions including form submissions and phone calls, alongside traffic, keyword movement and backlink quality.
The strongest tell on that page is the line noting that on Wix you have to upload content separately for the mobile design. Wix's separate mobile view is where a lot of agencies quietly create desktop and mobile content mismatches, and naming it in a sales page suggests they have hit the problem in real accounts rather than reading a checklist.
Their multi-office footprint across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic makes them a sensible pick for regionally focused businesses that want an agency familiar with their market. Their about page also lists industry recognition including US Agency Awards and Search Engine Land Awards finalist placements and a Moz recommended listing, which is at least externally conferred rather than self-declared.
Worst fit: Their in-house build specialisms are WordPress and Shopify, so Wix here is an SEO service, not a build platform. If you need Wix development alongside the SEO, go to entry four. We also found no Wix partner directory profile for them, so they should not be described as a certified Wix Partner, and they make no such claim themselves. They publish no team size, no review score and no rates.
8. Wix Legends
Founded: Not published Location: Not published on their own site. Their Wix partner profile lists New Jersey, US. Best for: Small businesses wanting a Wix redesign and an SEO lift from the same specialist team, with unusually long support hours.
Wix Legends is a Wix-only design and redesign shop whose SEO offering is sold as "SEO and Online Visibility": keyword research, on-page optimisation and Google Business integration attached to the sites they build. Their framing is explicit that design and SEO work together to grow your business, rather than SEO as a standalone retainer. They also sell corporate video production and a monthly maintenance and marketing plan covering social posting and ghostwritten blog articles.
They hold a live Wix partner profile, which is the check we would recommend running on any agency displaying a Legend badge. That profile carries a 5.0 rating and a completed-project count in the low hundreds, and it is where their site's review page sends you for more reviews. Their stated support hours, Sunday through Thursday, 10am to 10pm EST, are unusually wide for a small shop and genuinely useful if you are the kind of owner who notices a broken page at 9pm.
Their own site claims over 200 five-star reviews and clients across North America. The reviews shown on their site are dated, attributed to full names and linked back to Wix.com, which is better sourcing than most of this list manages, though the 200-plus total itself is their figure rather than a platform-verified count.
Worst fit: This is still the thinnest entry on the list for pre-purchase due diligence, and we have ranked it accordingly. There is no founding year, no office address, no team size and no rate card on the site, and the SEO offering is described in a single paragraph rather than a scoped deliverable list. More substantively, SEO here is attached to a design engagement rather than sold as an independent discipline, so if you have an existing Wix site that does not need redesigning and you want ongoing search work, the shape of the offering does not match your need.

Frequently asked questions
Is Wix actually bad for SEO in 2026?
No, and it has not been for several years. Wix serves server-rendered HTML, gives you editable robots.txt, canonical tags, per-page meta control, structured data markup and a proper redirect manager. Wix Studio produces cleaner markup again. The platform's real limitations are elsewhere: less control over server-level configuration, a rigid blog URL structure, and a separate mobile view that can drift out of sync with desktop content. Those are constraints to work within, not reasons to migrate. The sites that fail on Wix almost always fail for the same reasons sites fail anywhere: thin content, no internal linking discipline and no local signal.
Do I need a Wix specialist, or will any good SEO do?
It depends on where your problem lives. If the work is content strategy, digital PR, keyword targeting and internal linking, a strong generalist is fine and possibly better. If the work involves the platform's own behaviour, mobile view divergence, blog URL structure, dynamic pages, Velo-driven content, structured data through Wix's markup editor, you want someone who has done it before. The expensive scenario is hiring a generalist and paying them to learn Wix on your retainer.
What does the Wix Partner "Legend" tier actually mean?
It is the top tier of the Wix Partners Program, and it primarily reflects an agency's relationship with Wix: build volume, platform certifications and standing in the partner ecosystem. It is a signal of platform commitment, not an SEO qualification. Several providers on this list display Legend badges on their own sites. In some cases the corresponding public Wix partner profile does not show a tier label at all, which does not mean the badge is false, only that you cannot confirm it from the outside. Ask any candidate to open their live Wix partner profile in front of you rather than pointing at a badge image on their own page.
How much should Wix SEO cost per month?
Only two providers here publish rates. SEO Smooth lists Wix tiers from $849 to $1,999 a month on a three-month minimum term, and The Wix Guys list UK tiers from £299 to £749 plus VAT with no long-term contract. Between them that is a fair benchmark for productised small-business work on either side of the Atlantic. Custom retainers from broader agencies typically start higher, because you are buying strategy, content production and often paid media coordination alongside the technical work. Be suspicious of anything under a few hundred dollars a month. At that price the deliverable is usually automated directory submissions and a monthly PDF.
Should I move off Wix if I am serious about SEO?
Usually not, and be wary of anyone who leads with that recommendation, especially if they happen to build on the platform they are recommending. A migration resets your crawl history, risks your existing rankings and consumes budget that would otherwise fund content. The genuine reasons to leave are structural: you need thousands of programmatically generated pages, you need server-level control, you need a headless front end, or your ecommerce requirements have outgrown what Wix Stores supports. Those are real, but they are the minority of cases.
How long before I see results?
Technical fixes can show up in Search Console within weeks. Content and authority work realistically takes three to six months to move competitive terms, longer in crowded markets. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting terms nobody searches for or is about to do something to your site you will regret. Agree in advance what you will measure, ideally conversions and qualified traffic rather than raw rankings, and hold the engagement to that.
The bottom line
The Wix SEO market splits cleanly into two groups, and knowing which one you need is most of the decision.
Wix-only boutiques (The Wix Guys, Wix Legends, and CIS Agency on the development side) know the platform intimately. They will not waste your first month learning where the settings live, and they usually attach SEO to a design or build engagement. That is the right purchase when your site needs rebuilding anyway.
Broader agencies (Zoek, Media Components, Sixth City Marketing, SEO Smooth) treat Wix as one platform inside a larger practice. You trade some platform intimacy for depth in local SEO, ecommerce, paid media, reporting and content production. That is the right purchase when your Wix site is one channel among several.
We rank ourselves first because our work sits in the second group but does not stop at marketing. When a Wix SEO engagement turns out to need ecommerce work, a measurement layer, conversion changes or an honest conversation about whether the platform is now the ceiling, we can handle all of it rather than handing you a list of referrals.
Whichever way you go, do three things before you sign. Ask how they handle Wix's separate mobile content. Ask to see a live Wix partner profile rather than a badge on their own site. And ask which metric they will be judged on in month six. The answers to those three questions will tell you more than any list, including this one.
