What do I need to connect an AI app with MCP?

Usually a paid plan on the AI app, an account on the tool, and permission to add connectors. See your first MCP connection for the general steps.

Is it safe to connect my business tools?

It can be. Start read-only where you can, approve risky actions and remove access you no longer use. See the MCP Security Center.
